About this listen

Family is never just one thing, but the Marchand and Cormier families must begin to find a way to co-exist. Turmoil ensues when unsuspecting family members threaten the ownership of a long-held beloved family bakery business. Past family secrets and the lies they have chosen to ignore will no longer remain hidden. The families embark on a path of discovery which leads them from the Louisiana and Texas Gulf Coasts to the Midwest and the California Coast. Naming Lilah is at times a humorous, yet emotional family story centered around a unified journey as they all struggle to overcome loss and attempt to move toward truth, peace and self-acceptance.

All of the characters are relatable. I'm looking forward to more stories about the family. What's next for Kate?

Love it!

I so enjoyed reading Naming Lilah. Really loved how the story line centered around a bakery. I could nearly taste each croissant and pecan pie with every chapter - delicious! The writer brought each character to life as she revealed their complexities. Some family members reminded me of my own as they came off the pages. I truly hope this story is brought to the big screen. The whole world could benefit from it’s heart warming message.

A must read!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading and listening to Naming Lilah! Each of the characters were so layered and complex. As a native of Louisiana, I could picture the pecan farm and taste the delicious pastries as I envisioned the multi-faceted, but very relatable characters. It is a must read.

This should be a movie!
