All 6 books are free! Can’t complain about that??

I don’t want to say anything negative, all 6 books were free. I don’t have the talent to write a book or be audio reader. I have listened to literally hundreds of audiobooks. So this is constructive criticism. Overall concept was good. It took me awhile to figure out what a familiar was (normally familiars are not humans). The first 3 books the phrase “I mused” was way over used. During the erotic scenes, though good, all the characters sounded the same. They all said “faaack!” All the time. Only way u knew who was who because of the name. Imo, they all should have had their own specific way, some like to b in control some like not to b in control. I can see Lilith be controlling since she was a queen, Brier liking rough and maybe purred or was really loud (beast mistress). Alli being dominated or kinky since she was a djinn. Grants sword broke at the end of book 3 or 4, but then he was using it again. Unless I missed it, it was never said how it was repaired. Lastly, I know it was implied, but I wish Grant would have told Ali he loved her when she was kicking his @$$ lol. I thought that would have gave her pause, since he never said it to her out loud.

The battle for Imperial City!

The fight in the Palace between Grant, his comrades, the Emperor, and his retinue was successful but not entirely. The Emperor called Lith by the name he knew as Kalith. At the close of the battle, to save Grant’s life, Alianna the Djinn turned, allowing the dark side of her to take over, grabbing the presence of Averatt, and disappearing into another portal. The Emperor’s mental control was returned. As Grant and his comrades wanted to leave to find Alianna, the Emperor swore to do whatever he could to help them, as he planned the campaign against Averatt. Averatt’s army of golems and undead was coming. Grant, his companions, the Emperor, and his army left the city to confront Averatt on the plains outside of the city. Still, there is the issue of finding Alianna. All-in-all, even excluding the sex, it is a decent story. I think after book three I started skipping through the five-minute sex scenes. I became more interested in the tale than in getting some tail. I enjoyed the story and the narrator was quite gifted in the various voices where I could tell who was speaking.

Quite a Climax (Pun intended)

This erotic, epic tale was surprisingly well done. Everyone involved, the author Mark Albany and the narrator Leo Barnabas did the heavy lifting, but everyone behind the scenes rocked as well. Congratulations all to a job well done.

Good Series

Good story and performance. I do recommend this series. Too bad the series has to end for I wish it would continue on for a few more books. The fact that the entire 6 books are included in the Plus catalogue is amazing. Having said that, I would have paid for a continuing series. Any chance?

Good story

Great story all but a little too much emphasis on the sex, some is great but a little over board.

worth your time

I don't know about anyone else, but this series felt like 2 trilogies back to back. Each book is about five hours long despite runtime listings. The 1st 5 books have approximately an hour preview for next book in the series at the end. The issue I have found with shorter stories specifically in this genre and with trilogies is that authors seem resistant to time jumps. This, in my opinion, leads to an MC that can't tie his shoes today, risk destroying Galaxies with a sneeze tomorrow. For his part Mark Albany appears to have no such hang ups and though this series is technically short it really didn't feel that way. I really enjoyed this set of well written and performed books and I think you will too.
