This story was kinda crazy! You are rooting for the protagonist and then boom, twists and turns. I wish there was more cat and mouse running through the forest, the punch line came a bit too quick, could have been dragged out longer. but overall it was a captivating story.

Brooke is hiding something and someone will stop at anything to get her to confess.

Brooke is not a nice girl. She admits it without actually admitting it. She’s not likable or sympathetic, although her family life is less than idea. The further I read, the less I liked Brooke, the less I cared whether she survived.

I do like Megan Lally’s wordbuilding and writing style. If you like cat and mouse thrillers, read NO PLACE LEFT TO HIDE. If you don’t, you might want to skip this.

I really enjoyed the story. I was able to figure it out about halfway thru but it was still very entertaining. The narrator is great at the different voices for the characters but my only complaint is she spits the end of some words. Once I heard it I couldn’t help but notice it and I was gritting my teeth trying to finish the book. It was worth finishing but DAMN!

WHEN I SAY THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK IVE EVER READ, THAT IS THE BIGGEST UNDERSTATEMENT IN THE WORLD!!!!!! THE NARRATOR MADE THE WHOLE BOOK THAT MUCH BETTER!! SHE HAD TO NARRATE FOR EVERY CHARACTER AND MY GOODNESS DID SHE NAIL IT!!!

exhilarating plot and twists i would definitely recommend. this was my second book by this author
