About this listen
Three visions of death. Two women trapped in a killer's lair. One chance to survive.
The Summer of Love has been replaced by the Summer of Fear as a sadistic killer prowls the streets of San Francisco. Known only as 'The Gemini,' his brutal murders have the city paralyzed in a merciless grip of terror as he taunts police with a series of cryptic puzzles and the body count rises.
As detectives work to unravel the Gemini's chilling clues, the line between nightmare and reality begins to blur when Cassie Kennedy—a newly separated young mother and part-time psychic—discovers that her dreams are foretelling the gruesome deaths of three women.
Thrust into the heart of the investigation, it becomes a desperate fight for survival when the horrifying truth emerges: Cassie may know the Gemini more intimately than she ever imagined . . .
Set against the gritty backdrop of 1969 San Francisco, Now is the Time of Monsters is a pulse-pounding thriller that blurs the razor-thin line between predator and prey, fact and fiction.
For fans of dark, gripping suspense—you're in for a thrill ride you'll never forget.
Contains mature themes.

Fans of Stephen King and Joe Hill that like to listen to audiobooks like The Bird Box and The Haunting and can't get enough stories about serial killers are going to enjoy listening to The Asylum Confessions. The majority of these killers are expert manipulators. I realize they could be playing me and messing with my head. It's a chance I'm willing to take. Story
Some art takes on a life of its own. A beautiful house. A loving family. Two kids, a dog, and a tenure-track professorship teaching art at the local university. Dan Rineheart is living the dream. But all dreams must end. When an anonymous painting arrives at the university, Dan is tasked with uncovering the artist. No title. No name. No signature or frame. It’s a disturbing work of grotesque perfection. A work of art...that changes with each viewing. So begins the nightmare. Where painted clocks tick-tock in the dark hours before dawn.

‘Just rest, Frankie. I’ll take care of you.’ I feel my baby kick as my nanny fluffs my pillows and lays me down. She gives me a soothing smile, but it doesn’t reach her eyes. She knows I’m afraid of her… When I shake our nanny Jasmine’s hand for the first time and catch her perfect smile, I can’t ignore the feeling that we’ve met before. But I tell myself it’s nothing. I desperately need help around the house. Since I got pregnant, I burst into tears over the smallest things and my mind is a haze. I can barely look after my toddler Olivia. Jasmine is a godsend–isn’t she?

Jessamyn St. Germain is meant to be a star. Not an actor who occasionally books yogurt commercials and certainly not a lowly usher at one of Vancouver’s smallest regional theaters. No, she is bound for greatness, and that’s why the part of Maria in the theater’s upcoming production of The Sound of Music is hers. Or it’s going to be.

Mind blowing
“Now is the Time of Monsters” by A. G. Mock is a psychological thriller that completely blew my mind! From start to finish, I was hooked by the dark, twisted storyline that kept me on the edge of my seat. The character development is fantastic—each character feels complex and real, and their actions add layers to the suspense. As the story unfolds, you can’t help but feel the tension building.
But the real kicker? The shocking twists! I was absolutely shook. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, Mock threw a curveball that left me speechless. If you love psychological thrillers with rich character depth and a plot that will keep you guessing.
I read this book before listening to the audio version and the narrator brought it to life even more. This book is a must-read/listen. Prepare for a wild ride!

Wow! That was messed up!
I can honestly say this book itself has the craziest ending I have ever read personally! When this audiobook came out, I knew I needed a 2nd round with the book and listening to it gave it a whole other fantasticly creepy vibe. Jeremy does so well bringing the characters to life. I cannot recommend this book, in any format, enough times to people. Your brain will not be the same after!
