About this listen

General Ridgewalker Zirkander is getting married.

Sardelle - the woman who’s battled dragons, shamans, and countless enemy soldiers at his side - has accepted his proposal, and it’s the perfect time for a wedding. It’s been two months since any dragons or sorceresses attacked the city, the Cofah haven’t come after their kidnapped emperor, and King Angulus has stopped yelling at Ridge for his inadvertent role in destroying the castle.

Yes, it’s the perfect time for a wedding.

Never mind that the resident dragon who thinks he’s a god is pressuring Ridge to build a temple for him, or that the pirate-turned-scientist Tolemek has disappeared. Or that Ridge’s mother is on the verge of discovering that magic exists and her future daughter-in-law is a sorceress. These are small hiccups, and the wedding will go smoothly. Ridge is sure of it. Really.

Awesome, entertaining, fabulous!!!!

I'm sad I'm done with the book, towards the end I slowed myself down just because I didn't want it to be over! The story, the scenery the characters the background, I don't know how anybody can put all this together so seamlessly. I thank the seven gods for anyone who can, and is willing to put it down on paper for others to enjoy! Equally I don't know how someone can read the story out loud making any character sound different and make the voice match the character, simply amazing!

Good series

The story was captivating and kept my interest through the complete series.
I did fine it a problem finding each book TMC the series order.

A nice conclusion

While somewhat open for more stories, this book does seem like a decent endpoint. But a perfect story, but like the Romancing the Stone movies it feels like it draws inspiration from, a fun one.

The new character was a little clunky to deal with, largely because I refused to read the .5 side book she was in as I couldn't stand an entire book with Therik(sp?). She seems fun but the fact I couldn't picture her reminds me of why this series is only 3.5-4 stars tops ever.

Lack of description. While one doesn't have to be as winded as Robert Jordan, There's never enough description for any charter really to get a good solid foundation in one's mind. Unlike a book, it's hard to go back and re read where a desc is. The author has banter down well, and a nice yarn, but description always falls short.

That being said, I don't mind having spent money for the some of the books on sale (I won't buy the .5 one before this even 70 percent off sorrynotsorry). Anyone who's made it this far will want to read this though to get that ending.

Will my heroes survive against the highly skilled shaman??

It was a back and forth, back and forth volley of battles between my heroes and the very skilled shaman. He seemed to over pace our familiar Heroes and I was very worried for their survival. It became a magic against magic, and then technology, and powder against magic to the very end.

A very good addition to the series

While not as fraught with danger as some of the other stories, it was still a heart warming addition to the series. It really made me like the characters even more. Very well done.

Boasting is in Daron Fashion

Of course all the pilots and Zirkander AND Sarddelle are stars, BUT the greatest character for me was the the dragon who fashioned himself yo be a god (not having a written copy to check my spelling - Ba Ba Suruth! Sounds like a certain hotel owner I know.
