About this listen

A mysterious entity may be the key to a starship’s survival - or a terrifying new threat - as the Odyssey One series continues...

The Empire has set its sights on its next target: human Terrans. As effective allies of the Priminae, the denizens of Earth have proven themselves enemies to the Empire, and now the Imperial forces know more about the Terran home world than ever before.

The battle for the planet’s survival will see the Odysseus first into the breach. But more perils loom for Commodore Eric Weston and his comrades. They’re at odds with the political conflicts dividing Earth’s government and challenged by the mysterious presence haunting their vessel - its intentions unclear, and the extent of its powers unknown.

As the Empire brings the battle home, the crew of the Odysseus will need to determine whether this entity will support them in their fight for survival, or prove to be another dangerous foe.

There’s no turning back...and the only way forward may be a pathway to doom.

from the first book to the seventh book this series does not disappoint. This is got to be one of the best space story fighting military style combat with alien ships and new worlds book I've ever read or listen to. highly recommended.

awesome book

Another great bopk in the Odysseus line, non stop action and a additive stoy line.

Fantastic book

Finally an author and a series that lives up to the hype. There is buzz for this series for those in the know!

I'm not a literary expert, I'm simply a truck driver that listens to A LOT of audio books. I don't normally bother with leaving a review, but I felt compelled to for this book.

This has been a very engaging series. I went through all the books in about 2 weeks. Thanks to Currie and de Vries for the entertainment. I can not wait for the next installment.

Wow. Can't wait for the next one!!!

I have no words after this night long immersion read other than I WANT MORE! I can't wait until September when Archangel One, the new series following the cessation of hostilities or better, Cold War. I know Steph will be back and the AA's! I hope Eric Weston stays in if not the first book, at least the series. To the stars!

Just Outstanding finish!!!

ended with a bang... but i was imagining finding a swarm of drahsen and leading them to the imperial homeworld to wreck havoc... this would allow them down. maybe a plot line for book 8 .. thanks for the good reads!

great conclusion to the series

I listened to all 7 books one after another so maybe that's why toward the end I was sick of hearing that quantity has a quality all it's own, or chuckling, which seems to be the only way real men laugh or a number of other quirky things. I considered this to be a fantastic story. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. I wish I had the strength to space them out to maybe once a month so the few constantly repeated items didn't bug me so much. I could not do that. I was too into the story. It was so bad if I could have, I might have shot the story directly into my veins.

good story with some heavy repetition.

I tend to go for hard science fiction but started this series on a whim. I have enjoyed it greatly.

Great pulp Sci-Fi
