Publisher's summary

Royce Wheeler thought he had it all - a great corporate job, a secure relationship, and a nice home in the city. When his omega fell pregnant, Royce was overjoyed - until he realized that the baby wasn't his. His partner had cheated on him with Royce's own boss! With his relationship in tatters and his career on the line, Royce is desperate to get out of the city and gain some perspective.

Patrick Murrin is facing a tough decision. As the only heir to his widowed omega father, he will be expected to take over the family business when his dad retires in a few months. He doesn't hate the diner - he works there himself, and with the amount of time he spent there as a child, it's like a second home. But his real passion is art, and the idea of never being able to follow his dream makes Patrick's heart sink in his chest.

A chance meeting between Royce and Patrick ignites an instant attraction - but when Royce's ex shows up the same day Patrick realizes his own unplanned pregnancy, claiming that the baby is his after all, Royce’s choice is painted in broad strokes: take a chance in this small town with an omega that makes his heart race? Or return to the city that used to hold his dreams?

Carter’s Crossing is a quaint little town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where some people go to get away, others arrive to start over, and plenty just find themselves when they’re lost or brokenhearted. This contemporary mpreg series is for adults only and is sure to leave you believing in the magic of true love and happily ever afters! This series is a stand-alone series and can be listened to in any order.

Great story

Really enjoyed the story between Patrick and Royce. It had some angst but not a ton, and it was a great quick listen.

Sweet story

This was a story of city 40 y/o man and a small town virgin of 25 y/o. For under a 4 hour story it was a good listen. We are intreduced to different characters, which I always enjoy. Glad we had events and an actual dorey rather than a marathon of sex.
Narrator did a good job differentiating between characters, for a second I thought I was listening to two narrators.

I would read the second book. I want to know how the brewery is growing.

steamy

The book had a few twist in it. With a cheating lying boyfriend. I like how the characters pull through after an unexpected guest. Always love when baby's are born in books.

Sweet quick listen

This is one of those good summer listens, a bit sweet and a bit fun. A quirky little town, little drama and a HEA. Narrator did a good job making it a pleasurable listen.

Happily Ever After Romance

I read this on my kindle and I definitely prefer this as and audiobook. Alpha who is rebounding from numerous issues, decides to go home and end up meeting his brothers ex omega. Then the book picks up speed.. A few dates an antagonist and then a happily ever after. I wish their would of been more depth in the middle to build up the side characters and feel the connection between the mates. I was given this audiobook for an honest review, it is spicy 🌶 and sweet 🍦definitely worth the credit.

Patrick & Royce

Royce is a player, but his terrible choices in Omegas does not help. Patrick wants a serious relationship despite his roommate trying to convince him otherwise. They do not seem like they could work, but Royce is tired of failing at love and wants to try with Patrick. Royce is facing issues with a terrible ex, as well. Patrick was wonderful.

Great story and wonderful audio

This themes of this story cover betrayal, recovery and unexpected love. Royce is betrayed in the most egregious way possible and he decides to leave on vacation to his brother's home. Patrick is an omega with a problem. Keep the family business or be true to his art. That's all I'm saying about the story because it is too good to risk ruining for you all. Robin Woodson does a fantastic job with the narration. It is easy to hear the difference in the characters voices and all the voices match Aiden Bates's descriptions of the men. I was very pleased with the pace of his narration as well as for the diction and phrasing. This audio book is well worth the money spent for it.

Fantastic New Series

This is a fantastic new series by Aiden Bates narrated by new narrator to me Robin Woodson. Robin Woodson gave a great performance and has great potential to be a new favorite narrator of mine. I look forward to seeing more from him.

Aiden Bates gives us another delightful series filled with believable and lovable characters. I love Bates' books because you can always rely on a well-written story that gives you an easy Escape from reality and one that will always have a happy ending even if there are bumps along the way.
