About this listen
What if every single moment of every single day - God had been magnificently redeeming your worst days into your best ones? What if redemption wasn’t a tenet of cold theology, but instead, a relationship of love that was formed most deeply, not when you were on your game, but when you couldn’t seem to make sense of almost anything?
The hope-infused audio of On My Worst Day reveal the redemption you’ve longed for. Discover firsthand how the narrative of your life changes as you dare to believe that your worst days do not define you. With each impactful story, you will be awakened to the undeniable power of the cross that sets you free.
Whether for the first time or the first time in a long time, you will encounter the voice of God, who has adored you from the beginning, and you will hear his words to you: You are enough, my child. Surpassingly enough.

Story
Many of us stumbled into Jesus and discovered the one we'd been searching for all our lives, whether we knew it or not. He told us everything was going to be alright. He was a best friend who whispered that he loved us to the exact extent his father loved him. He saw everything we did yet refused to condemn us ever. He was an incredibly powerful and supernatural God who could actually change the outcome of our horror into beauty. Then enter shame, time, failure, disappointment, and bad teaching.

“Don’t ask too many questions. Just go with the flow.” This is the mantra of legalistic religion. It leaves many of us wallowing in confusion as we still have burning questions about our faith. Sometimes, these questions almost seem off-limits: Is there actually an unforgivable sin? Can we lose our salvation? Is masturbation always a sin? Am I really supposed to give 10 percent of my income to the church? Is divorce and remarriage wrong for a Christian?

In an era in which many Christians consider Jesus a beloved but remote savior, Willard argues compellingly for the relevance of God to every aspect of our existence. Masterfully capturing the central insights of Christ's teachings in a fresh way for today's seekers, he helps us to explore a revolutionary way to experience God by knowing him as an essential part of the here and now, rather than only as part of the hereafter.

He came to the realization that waiting for absolute certainty from God before making decisions may seem uberspiritual, but it can lead to a life of intense stress, paralyzing fear, and crushing regret - just the opposite of the freedom granted to those living a Christ-filled life.

Ff we spend our lives trying to be “the strong one,” we become exhausted, burned-out, and disconnected from our truest selves. What if it were different? Could there be a different way to be strong? Could strength mean more than pushing on and pushing through pain, bearing every heavy burden on our own? What if, instead, true strength were more like the tide: soft and bold, fierce and gentle, moving together as one powerful force? In Strong like Water, author and trauma therapist Aundi Kolber offers a framework for true flourishing.

When you think something can’t get better... then you find out how wrong you were!
I listened to John Lynch’s first book, also read by him... while I will always love and enjoy that book, this one captures John’s personality and enjoyment of life... his own, other’s and life in general in a way that is stunning! You laugh along with him and learn along with him as he shares his journey as only he can!! Thank you John Lynch for the privilege of getting to know you as a friend and co-traveler. Thank you for sharing Papa’s love for us in a profound and personal way!!

Very gracious. Very insightful.
I have four counselor friends who attended a continuing Ed conference last month, where the author spoke. All said John Lynch was their favorite presenter.
Base on their enthusiasm, I picked up this autobiography. Nuggets drip from John’s transparency and insight. My prayer is I can see God as approachable as John describes, even during life’s most toxic and challenging moments.
Very easy listening for such intimate topics.

John Lynch, thank you.
This:
You're learning to believe love is indescribably powerful, that it transcends all else. Later, your hunger for love which refuses to leave when other loves do will draw you inexorably to me.
That's powerful, I thank you deeply for that.

John Lynch does it again!
Oh my goodness! I read your “1st Edition” many years ago, and was thrilled to have YOU read “the rest of the story” to me! It was even better hearing it in your voice! (While I may have a weakness for Matthew McConaughey, I’m glad you chose to be your own voice!!) 🤣🤣
When you came to speak at Woodmen Valley Chapel, Co Spgs, in 2012/2013 and I heard you recite “God’s Great New Testament Gamble”, my life was changed forever! A few years
later I painted your GGNTG on a huge piece of wood and it hangs in my guest bathroom today (I have given you a place of “honor”, John)! The Lord uses you and continues to use you and I love being a bystander…watching people I know or don’t yet know, being changed by “God in John Lynch”! Please continue to speak and write my friend!

An entertainingly serious real example of a man after God’s own heart.
John Lynch is an amazing entertainer while he reveals real life stories and describes his life journey of maturing in Christ. On My Worst Day was both entertaining and enlightening. I recommend this book for anyone but especially to those who may struggle to understand the real meaning of grace.

So helpful and healing
This was such a good book with encouragement through the hardest most painful seasons of my life. I have pulled it out to reread several times and never cease to find some
new gem I had probably seen but not grasped before because it wasn’t the right time. I have hear John speak numerous times at our church and he is so engaging and encouraging and someone you can really relate to. If you have heard John Lynch speak before you will know why this audible version offers a whole other layer of goodness to this well written book. It continues to be a balm for me in difficult seasons and I find myself reaching for it often to encourage others as well. Highly recommend!!
