About this listen

Following the immense success of Volume I with over 35,000 copies sold, On Writing and Worldbuilding: Volume II brings a host of new topics to table in even more detail and depth. Writing advice tends to be full of "rules" and "tips" which are either too broad to be helpful or outright wrong.

Aimed at specific, applicable, and practical discussions, from writing fight scenes to first-person narration to hard and soft worldbuilding, Volume II is a "must have".

Good, useful book; performance could be better.

There are a number of weird audio cuts where the mixing changes in the audio book itself, but this book has given me a number of important ideas for my own writing.

Incredible!! Vol II is so good!! Amazing!

Ok, so once again - you have hit it out of the park with this book! There were some very valuable pieces of advice that I’m going to incorporate into my own Worldbuilding. Thank you!

>However, I was disappointed by the mentions of that TERF-scum JK Rowling again. Did she put you up to this somehow? Her children’s book about magic elementary school is derivative, lazy and layered with steaming, racist tripe. Also, she is a gross, petty, slimy little person who is so concerned about other peoples genitals that she made it her whole personality.

Since she’s going to be forgotten by time, because her bigotry isnt a remarkable enough trait to make her noteworthy, I think you should definitely not talk about her if you ever make Vol III of this.

EDIT: oh nice! Just discovered there is a part 3! Sweet. I’m going to go give a listen to the sample just to make sure you came to your senses and didn’t include anything about that hack JK Rowling.

As long as there’s no mention of JK Rowling, I’m definitely going to pick up Vol 3!!
