About this listen

You can run from the grave, but you can't hide...

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead. She's still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.

Being around him awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline kick of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them. But a price on her head—wanted: dead or half-alive—means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones. And no matter how hard she tries to keep things professional between them, she'll find that desire lasts forever... and that Bones won't let her get away again.

More please!

It really is a “movie in your mind”.
I’m so excited Ms. Frost chose to utilize Graphic Audio. As someone who loves this series I just couldn’t bear and listen to Tavia Gilbert as Bones who sounded, high pitched, nasally and came off as a slime ball. So sadly I only purchased the first audio book in the series. Now it’s like Christmas. Smooth, charismatic voice for Bones, and sound effects that prime your senses for the scenes, particularly the action sequences. Best of all I can finally listen to one of my favorite series. Chefs kiss.

Fantastic

I absolutely love this series! Cat and Bones are the BEST couple. I'm starting to enjoy the graphic audiobook more. However, some of the background music is still a bit distracting for me. I love this series, so you really can't go wrong!

FANTASTIC!!!

I love this series and was so excited to see it available in graphic audio! The voice actors are superb, bringing to life the characters I've imagined the many times I've re-read my physical copies. Excellent storyline. Definitely getting the rest in this series as they come out in this format.

Better than expected

After the end of book 1, I did not think this book would be any good. But it turned around and was pretty good. For me there where a few cringy-moments. If you did like the first book, you definitely should read this also.

Absolutely what I was looking for

The dramatic adaption makes it better than tv, and I chose listening over tv. Better than Netflix.

okay...

As a huge fan of the original Cat and Bones books and when I say huge fan, I mean, I have bought and listened to every book in the series at least 10 times. . I'm a little disappointed at this version. I still can't believe they completely removed Tavia Gilbert who the very least she should have continued to do Cats voice she was so good at being Cat, I couldn't help but notice they also removed some of the sentences. It made it feel incomplete for me. Example, when Cat 1st meets Noah in the original, Cat was supposed to give Noah "a quick feminine perusal not the standard risk assessment she usually gives". I thought that was really important to Cats character unfortunately, they left it out in this new version. She is a warrior after all. I assume the actress who is doing Cats voice is also doing Justina and Denise because there isn't much distinction between their voices. what happened to their accents? Anyway I'm love the story, even though its lacking, I think I'll stick to the original.

Love the new voices!

The Night Huntress novels is one of my favorite series ever and listening to this in Graphic audio was another experience!

Some parts sound a little cheesy - especially the kissing parts - but overall, the listening experience was awesome! I honestly want the whole series to be made into Graphic audios!!!

GOTTA LOVE GRAPHIC AUDIO!

I've enjoyed listening to graphic audio productions for over a decade. I've listened to traditional audio productions of this book before, but when I saw that Audible is releasing new versions produced by GA, I had to have them. Please release the rest of the set ASAP!

Mixed feelings

I've recently become a fan of the graphic audio versions of my favorites series. I liked Tavia Gilbert in the regular versions, but HATED how she voiced Bones. The narrator for Kat in this version made Kat annoying and cheesy. made her sound straight out of a daytime soap opera.
