About this listen

Love is in the air in Briar Creek as Library Director Lindsey Norris and Boat Captain Mike “Sully” Sullivan are finally tying the knot. The entire town is excited for the happy day, and Lindsey and Sully's plan for a small wedding evaporates as more and more people insist upon attending the event of the year.

When Lindsey and her crafternoon pals head out to Bell Island to see if it can accommodate the ever-expanding guest list, they are horrified to discover a body washed up on the rocky shore. Even worse, Lindsey recognizes the man as the justice of the peace who was supposed to officiate her wedding ceremony. When it becomes clear he was murdered, Lindsey can't help but wonder if it had to do with the wedding. Now she has to book it to solve the mystery before it ends her happily ever after before it's even begun....

AT LAST

I DO LOVE THIS SERIES, AND THIS BOOK WAS CERTAINLY A HIGHLIGHT IN A SERIES I HOPE CONTINUES FOR A VERY LONG TIME. LINDSEY, SULLY, BETH, ROBBIE, EVEN EMMA, AND OTHERS BRING SUCH STRENGTH AND WARMTH, LAUGHTER AND TEARS, TO A BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN STORYLINE. THE FRIENDSHIPS ARE GENUINE AND FAMILY IS MORE THAN BLOOD. BRAVO, JENN, FOR A JOB WELL DONE.

5/5 A must read for this series

Great writing and Great Narration= A must read
I have loved The Library Lovers' Mysteries from book 1, but Book 11 is a must read. So many things are happening and none of them you want to miss. NO spoiler from me---listen with delight to Allyson Ryan's narration. It will bring you to tears.

3 dead bodies and wedding vows

Of course there had to be a few dead bodies before Lindsey and Sully exchanged their wedding vows. It was a bit formulate, but all in all it was a good read. I am happy they finally tied the knot. I am interested to see where the author takes the series next. A light listen.Worth a credit.

🥂 Cheers

This story was fantastic and didn't disappoint. The wedding of the year and a great mystery made a satisfying read.

Narration is flawless, story is ok

I am a fan of this author and the series, but this book was not my favorite. It was a joy to see the main character marry the man of her dreams after a long build up of their story. However, It was obvious early on who the murderer was.
