Fantasy scifi with lots of twists and fun charcters. *Warning* some parts may cause you to laugh out loud* The characters are well thought out and fun. The story leads like a quest.

Scott wastes no time weaving up a beautiful blend of sci fi and fantasy. The story flowed very well and by the end you've been introduced to a brilliant cast of unique characters and get a sense of a much larger world and over arching saga planned out. Highly recommend for someone that enjoys long form story telling with vibrant characters and countless possibilities. Gonna have to read the next one. Also the narrator of this audio book was really a delight to listen to.

Incredibly Fun Adventure of Fantasy and Sci Fi

Orbem is a truly captivating read that pulled me in from the very beginning. The world-building is rich and immersive, creating a setting that feels both fantastical and grounded. The characters are incredibly well-written, each with distinct personalities that come alive on the page. What I loved most was how the humor was woven into their interactions—funny without ever being overbearing, adding just the right balance to the story.

The plot twists are masterfully done, catching me off guard in the best way. Each revelation added layers to the story, making it impossible to stop listening. The narrative pacing is smooth and gripping, and I found myself completely engrossed, eager to see what would happen next.

The audiobook itself is a great experience—well-narrated and expertly paced, making it easy to get lost in the story for hours at a time. I can't wait for the next audiobook release, and Orbem has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite reads this year.
