About this listen

I was the most powerful healer in my world—the best, having devoted my entire life to mastering the art of healing. And yet, for whatever reason, my brother feared that I sought to claim his throne, and he marshaled his forces against me.

Anyway, it doesn't matter, all the same I'd been planning on trying out a certain ritual and now . . .

I'm in another world altogether!? And this body I'm inhabiting, well, it's not mine, but some young guy's! And what's it mean that in this world the gift of the healer is downright pathetic?

Apparently, they simply don't know how to handle power.

Well, I'll show them . . .

It took some getting used to but I enjoyed the story and the world. The main character has a code but isn't particularly likable. The narrator does a good job of embodying the main character's quirks. I probably wouldn't listen to book 2 if I didn't already own it, but I'm about to give it a go. Some of my favorites series started out slow so maybe this is one of those.

Love the mc and plot.
Pacing could have been better but was never unentertaining throughout .
hopefully with most of the world building down in this first one the others will have more progression.
I'm extremely excited for book #2 and can hardly wait

Very Enjoyable

This is one of those stories that is interesting but very heavily influenced by the fact that the authors are obviously Russian it's 1 of those things where Men are men women or women and the roubles king Hither's way is a good start to what should be an interesting story

A good and interesting start but very Russian

the narrator did a very excellent job translating the sarcastic nature of the book. it was funny from beginning to end.

I like the concept and the story itself reads as a decent precursor to a good story. Probably just the translation, but the author does repeat sentences regularly enough that I couldn’t avoid noticing it each time. Definitely worth a credit if you like a good OP cultivator MC.

It’s pretty good

The book was good not great. They did a great job introducing the world, the characters and the story. It was short though, and not much was done to push the story. Basicly this was an introduction and nothing more.
I'm unsure if this is what to expect from these books or if this was just a one off. I will be getting the second book and reviewing it. If the second book is the same I will not be continuing the story.

It's a fairly short prewiew.

The story has a great idea, but the writing isn't polished enough. The way that certain events are described are too rough and often jump back and fourth. it's like the author is writing a TV show and is trying to use editing techniques instead of writing. I am sure that given enough time and experience the author will write some gems, it's just unfortunate this series came out prior to that.

The narrator has a good voice, but it seems like he gets tongue tied frequently which detracts from his performance.

Lost Potential
