Good Book

I enjoyed the story, it kept me wondering for a while who the killer was. I was sure it was someone it wasn't until it became clearer who it actually was. I am upset with the ending just a bit.
There was a lite bit of struggle when the story switched from Shaw to Edward, or another character. There was no discernible pause before switching. It all just seemed to roll together. Once I got used to the changes it was easier to notice, but if I got interrupted for a second and it switched without warning, I was lost and had to go back a few a seconds.
Overall, the boom was enjoyable and I would recommend to others.

Great listen

I listened to this book on my way home for Christmas it is abt a three hour drive. I found myself so hooked on the story and storyteller I set in my car just to listen to another chapter. Then I kept finding reasons to sneak off and listen to more. If your looking for a mystery and thriller to keep you guessing and coming back for more then orchestrating a murder is the book for you. I have read another of Heather’s book and this second read was not a disappointment . This book was so interesting I bought a copy for my mother who is now also enjoying it. The only thing it left me wanting was to hear Heather’s next book!!

Wow!

I loved the way the subplots were intricately woven together in this audiobook to spin a tale of deceit, love, murder, and vengeance. Edward is a lawyer representing a firm whose clients have begun to turn up dead. He hardly pays attention to this or the ramblings of his boss when his eyes are set on a beautiful doctor. At first, she is wooed by Edward, but after her friend on the police task warns her he may be potentially dangerous, she begins to back off. From there, the story escalates in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

I’ve never come across a thriller book where I generally thought the killer was a different person than it was. I love books that I can’t predict, and this one had that and more. Not to mention the tragic ending and the twist at the end. Very powerful thriller. I’ll definitely be checking out more work by this author.

Narration was smooth and easy to listen to. Great compliment to the story.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Couldn't stop listening!

Orchestrating Murder had me hooked on the story within the first chapter. It was very well written and kept me on the edge of my seat! I couldn't get enough of this book! Thrilling!!! I was so upset with the end of the story until I thought about it, it just wouldn't have been as realistic with a different ending. This isn't my normal genre, but I definitely enjoyed it and would love to see more books of this quality from Heather Osborne. I really enjoyed the narration by Holly Palance!

Orchestrating Murder

The characters are all well written. All characters come with a good amount of back story so you feel like you can relate to them. The lead characters are especially relatable. I keep guessing up to the end. Good narration.

Awesome Book

Orchestrating Murder. Wow. What an awesome book! I didn't realize how emotionally invested I was until the end and I was begging for it not to be over! Fingers remain crossed for a sequel.

I love all the musical allusions as well. Being a music freak, I appreciate how it is mixed into the book. That and Tchaikovsky is one of my favorite composers.

The audio production was superb as well. The narrator does a great job of giving each character their own voice and the emotions really flow.

I received the audiobook at my request from the author/narrator/publisher in exchange for an honest review.

BRAVA!

Heather and I have been BFFs within the indie writing community for several years, but I have never cut her an ounce of slack where her writing is concerned. I have, in fact, declined to review one of her earlier novels because I believed she had taken shortcuts and not remained true to her main character. So when I offer her praise, it is 100% genuine.

Orchestrating Murder, like a musical composition, was layered piece by piece, instrument by instrument. It came to a swelling crescendo and faded with a satisfying – though unexpected – coda with lingering afternotes. In other words, the story arc ROCKED! (Or classicaled?)

The characters were well-developed and relatable; even the antagonist, in their extremely twisted way, had perversely sympathetic motivation. The narrator took me a few minutes to get used to, but once I got accustomed to her, she simply disappeared as the story unfolded, which is exactly what the best voice actors do.

In the end, I have just one thing to say: Brava, my friend!
