Publisher's summary

If you have been hurt, neglected, rejected, or abandoned by your father, it may feel like every aspect of life is affected by that broken trust. Even your relationship with God can feel tenuous, but there is hope.

In this vulnerable book, author and speaker Kia Stephens shares her own story of father wounds, along with eye-opening examples from wounded women in Scripture who were transformed by the love of God. With great compassion, she helps you identify your father wounds and offers practical tools to help you overcome insecurity, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and trouble connecting with God as your loving heavenly father.

Take heart. Your father wounds do not have the last word in your life; God does. With help from Kia and love from God, you can be made whole again.

This book will make you uncomfortable in the best of ways! Be ready to go deep!

This book dealt with not only father wounds, but the affects of those wounds in our adult lives. I found myself identifying with so much of what Kia shared that at times it was hard to go on. I had to stop listening to process the truth that touched my hidden places still in need of healing. Our stories are different but the affects of our father wounds were much same.

Listening to the book was like going a journey back through my own coming of age. It addressed and brought healing and closer to issues I had learned to live with for better or worse.

I love that Kia included questions and scriptures to help go to provide solutions and hope for as we work through the healing process.

This is a book I will add to my paperback library, read again slowly, and share with other women seeking lasting healing from father wounds.

Makes you understand you are not alone in this struggle!

I enjoyed reading her experiences because it helped me to understand I am not alone. The enemy wants you to be in a place where you feel isolated. This book brings to light all of the emotions of having an absent father. Great, easy read!!!

Mother of a fatherless daughter

I appreciate her story and how she directed to scripture!

I just want to be better equipped to walk along side her. And this was so helpful.
