Overall A Great Overview
While I don't agree with Dr Kelly Brogan on everything, something I am sure she would welcome, I do agree with about 85% of what she says and find her overall vision absolutely necessary in today's climate.
In Own Your Self, Brogan describes several different issues with our current system of "sick care" (not health care), and offers many helpful interventions--most of which one can implement on their own and rather cheaply. In a better world, something closer to Brogan's perspective would be the mainstream view and not the "fringe alternative", but here we are. Ultimately, we're blessed to have her perspective well-represented in her own uncensored words here.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone with an open, but not uncritical, mind. But if you're already onboard with discarding our current profit driven medical system, you really ought to read/listen to this one immediately.

Life changing:
Having read her first book and gone through the Vital Mind Reset program, I knew this book would be good. I knew it would be chalk full of powerful messages that make so much sense they re-define “truth.”
What I wasn’t prepared for was how personal the messages and information in the book would be. I came so close to tears so many times that if I weren’t on a plane I think I might have had a complete break-down - the kind that serves as a “coming home.” A feeling that I didn’t even know I’d been craving. It’s hard to describe the complete feeling of peace that I experienced when I finished. I know the work is hard but I don’t know how one can read the. Oil and then not want to dive right in...
Thank you Kelly Brogan. Thank you. Please keep sharing your wisdom.
I listened to the book on audio and I highly recommend it - I will now buy the book so I can go back through and highlight and reference.

Excellent book. Everyone should read it.
In this book Dr. Brogan expresses herself with such poetic, precise eloquence in how to become your best FEE self. It is a book for everyone. I highly recommend it. It elevates one to think inward to meet with our higher self. It is so great also to listen to this book knowing that she is the one talking and her intonations are exquisite to every passage she is talking about........Don't wait any longer, even if you are not a reader, you can get it on audio... You will want more of her wisdom.......

A must read
I have recommended this book to everyone in my family and all of my friends. It’s an absolute must read, but not many people I know are ready to embrace the path to improve themselves. It’s a difficult journey but this book is a holding hand. I will likely listen to it again as well as the first book by Kelly Brogan, when the going gets tough. Thank you so much for the wonderful compilation of information on self healing and growth. I’m looking forward to another book in your future!

One of the best books I’ve ever read
This book brought me to tears several times. Even though I don’t suffer from a severe mood disorder and have never been on meds, the deeper spiritual truths in this book are undeniable and generalize to anyone on a path of spiritual awakening. Kelly’s clarity of voice truly brought me to tears and I finished this book feeling so grateful that I could cross paths with her in this way. If you’re reading this, GET THIS BOOK!!

Worth every penny, a vault of useful information.
A must listen for anyone that has had any health problems ever.
The narration is top notch, Pleasant to listen to and you can hear in her voice that she practices what she preaches and is a person who nearly mastered every area of her life. A true inspiration and a gift to humanity. Very worth listening to many times over, this is one of those. Everyone should have this side of the story to compare to our daily info!
