Lacked the detailed approach to taking the test that the description led me to believe. This was more like PMBOK ‘lite’. No test prep strategies or what to expect on the test. Did not enjoy the inconsistent pronunciations of the narration.

Not the test prep I was hoping for.

The text moves clearly from theory to experiential learning of a project managment practitioner. For the newly arrived, referencing the field of project management, additional data and readings are of supplimentary value. Keep this audio and review as often as needed. It isn't a waste of your time.

The Value of Ralph Cybulski's PMP Study Guide

I listened to the whole thing. It is a decent listen but not at all a study guide. I was hoping for something that told me what to expect on the PMP and how to prepare for the test.

More generic and not a study guide

Struggling to finish this book because of the performance. Either English is the speakers second language or he's never read the book prior to performing it, his reading is 4/10. This book also piles on the examples to the point they seem to take away from the key terms. This book seems to emphasize that projects need to be taken step by step. The examples are so distracting you forget their purpose in relationship to the key terms its trying to describe. This book would only be good if you needed an very broad overview for PMP

POOR ENGLISH AND WAY TO MANY EXAMPLES

It didn't included any detailed explanation for the 10 Knowledge area. It's just a summary. I don't think so this audible itself will be helpful for cracking the PMP exam

No Detailed explanation

Boring, dry and not interesting. Repeats the word project management million times per paragraph. A whole chapter describes the PMI organisation’s history.

A waste of time

The basic knowledge about PMP is well explained , the example are illustrative and help comprehend concepts , the narrator voice , pitch and diction helps to understand the processes, I would like you to go deeper on tools and techniques , emphasize the difference between tools that might seem similar but they are not

Essential Knowledge

This book was completely lacking in substantive information. You could read the Table of Contents of other PM guides and learn more.

Awkward Narrator and Superficial Coverage

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

I've read the PMBOK before so I knew what the content would be but the execution of the audio book performance was abysmal. He inflects words and sentences so improperly that it makes you believe that he either is a bad AI or English is not a comfortable language for him. The mistakes are so off-putting that it's hard to focus on the content being delivered

TERRIBLE NARRATION

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

The writer may know a thing or two about project management but not about people in general. I agree that caution is important but operating as if everyone is out to get you and sabotage your job is not a healthy way to live your life. Also, I’m not sure if it was his intention but the positive stories indicated a male PM and the negative stories indicated a female PM. I’m not a person that’s triggered on the regular but I can tell you I know many more females than males that work in this business. That point of view is shortsighted at best. The performer for the book over-pronounced words and at times it was difficult to follow. Every syllable was pronounced separately. Every. Syllable. It was distracting. Even William Shatner would have been annoyed by it. Do not recommend if you want to actually learn anything that would help you with the exam.

Covers some good information but hard to get through
