I really enjoyed this book he told the story got to the point it was not drawn out with a lot of unimportant words right to the point I like the way he turned in to a bear. it's call a shift changer . I have to give him five stars kept my attention thru out the story I received this book free from the author, narrator for a honest and unbiased review via audio book boom

A cute, short shifter bear story. It was a good listen. I felt so bad for Angel's mom at the beginning. Lucas was a stand up guy though. I thought it was a good start to a series. David Quimby did a great job.

This is a pretty good start to the Finding Fatherhood series. Lucas, a US Marshall, adopts a baby girl and becomes her father when her mother dies. His mate, Libby, won’t give him a chance. Will the two of them finally become mates?

David Quimby did an OK job with the narration. His voice sounds older than the hero. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I turned on Papa Bear when I wanted to listen to something while working on something else. I was craving a shifter romance and I've listened to Kit Fawkes, Kit Turnstall's stories before so I knew it would be a safe bet for a good story. I kept listening even after I finished what I was doing in the first place. Papa Bear is action-packed from the start when the witness Lucas was protecting was shot while being transported to the hospital when she was giving birth. She asks him to adopt her baby and he instantly becomes a Papa Bear. His mate, though, is reluctant, doesn't know she's his mate, and is hiding something. Things get real when a social worker shows up and they have to go into hiding. I liked the action and suspense that was engrossing and kept me listening to find out what was going to happen. I figured out one twist almost immediately but others took me by surprise. I liked the humor mixed in. One part was uncomfortable in light of recent current events but I also know that this book was written before so had to keep reminding myself of that. Overall, Papa Bear was quite fun with action, suspense, humor and an instant daddy who just needs to convince his mate that they belong together.
