About this listen

As seen on A Current Affair - the shocking story of Florida's most bizarre multiple murder case. As Lisa and Kosta Fotopoulos lay sleeping in their home, a burglar broke in and shot Lisa at point-blank range in the head. Miraculously, she survived to learn the sobering truth about her would-be assassin - and about her sociopathic husband's deadly agenda.

What a crazy tangled web of players. I binged this book and finished it in just a few days. Easy listening.

Tangled Story of Lies and Manipulation

The story was well told however the narration was a bit dry. Intersting true crime.

Needs a better narrator.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

This is the first book I've heard by this narrator. He did a great job pronouncing some very complicated names. I feel this book would have been better if performed by a woman.

Any additional comments?

The story had way too many - he said, she said's. Much of it could have been implied by a change in the intonation. Not the best crime book I've read, but interesting.

Good, not great

Surprisingly good. Very interesting story. Shocking actually. Loved every minute. Highly recommended! I had a narcissistic pervert as a 1st husband. And I always wonder if could be capable of this behavior. Def hit home with me.

Wow! Very interesting!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Too many uses of 'then he say, then she said, then he said, then she said....'

Any additional comments?

Would have like to know how the people are now.

Kind of long

This is a better-than-average telling of the story of a sociopathic murderer and the havoc he wreaked on his victims.
Thanks to author Provost for letting the sorry tale stand on its own merits without resorting to an examination of the lives of peripheral characters such as investigating officers.
Good narration by Arthur Flavell who has obviously taken the time and care to check the pronunciation of names and words that are a little out of mainstream usage.

Engrossing

What made the experience of listening to Perfect Husband the most enjoyable?

Knowing both sides of the events and easily relating to her.

Did Arthur Flavell do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, however, this should have been read by a woman. Women have a voice that will give a strong influence to what is said.

A smart woman who was dumb about men.
