About this listen

Ren Dunbar is used to never fitting in—anywhere. Graduating high school at 13 and med school at 19 pretty much guaranteed she’d always have trouble proving she belonged, but she’s okay with that. She prefers the solitude of the lab over the raucous atmosphere in the OR, which would be fine except she’s a surgery resident. Winning the Benjamin Franklin Prize in surgery is just the proof she needs to show everyone she deserves to be part of their world.

Dani Chan knows she’s disappointed her family in choosing a mundane clinical career—in surgery no less—over the far more valuable world of medical research. When she wins the Franklin Prize and the national acclaim that comes with it, she’ll finally gain their approval, and maybe, at last, their affection.

Ren and Dani set out to win, no matter what it takes, but their unexpected attraction is an obstacle neither has counted on, and love may be the final reward.

First Radclyffe book. This story really pulled me in despite the voice that sounded computer generated. Absolutely great story and I will definitely read more of Radclyffe!

Wonderful story!

There is no Radclyffe book that I didn’t love, but I couldn’t care less for the narration. I usually like Eire Grace’s narration, but this time it was very bad. So I couldn’t give the book 5 stars

Great story…

Terrible narrator. Inflections, emphasis, voices, whine sounding. All of it is just off. After being invested in many of the characters from the previous books, it’s sad that this narrator missed the mark so much.

Narrator was horrible.

Well written and a great story. Characters were well written and interesting. Remi (forgive me if misspelled I was listening) showing the deficits caused by children feeling that they don’t quite fit in. Remi was accelerated throughout school and she had to learn to navigate social settings alone. Dani was probably the nicest person possible due to the disappointment she felt from her family perhaps making her more vulnerable and understanding than the rest of individuals in the hospital. Enjoyed the conflicts and resolutions.
It is a stand alone book but I have read all books in this series and already get something’s others might miss.

Radcliffe another great READ

Story was good but it’s a hard one to listen to. Narrator sounds very mechanical

Good story

This book was well done! The characters were very believable. I’m glad that Quinn and Hope’s life outside of the hospital was integrated as well. Dani and Rem’s relationship was sweet and so on point.

I’m hoping there will be more PMC books in the future. They are my favorites.

Well done!
