Surprise in the real Peter Pan by Barrie

I never knew the actual story of Peter Pan by JM Barrie until listening to the book . I am of the Disney Generation so I found the story a bit brutal. I don't feel that it is a story for young children, especially in our present times of terror. It was interesting at times but other parts were rather inane. My meaning is that the story may be better for a more mature person, but on the other hand to silly for an adult reader. This may be a confusing review for you so I suggest that you give a try. ENJOY!
