Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Thea Harrison comes the final novella featuring Pia and Dragos....

Pia’s latest pregnancy has become a daily challenge, her relationship with Dragos strained with argument. That hasn’t stopped them from achieving a compromise and traveling to Las Vegas to celebrate their friend Rune’s wedding to his mate Carling.

From the moment they arrive, the trip goes awry. Death walks in Vegas, and Pia is kidnapped as an ancient enemy makes a move to destroy the Great Beast once and for all.

But the Great Beast has other plans.

On Planet Dragos everything goes the way he arranges it - unless someone decides to cross him, and God help them then, because he doesn’t know how to back down, and he doesn’t ever, ever let up....

Loved Pia and Dragos from beginning to end...

I would have liked their last story to have been a longer one and I am sorry to see them go but I can relisten as I have the whole series in my library, great from beginning to end. I haved loved Sophie's narration as well.

Fitting End to the Story Arc

A fitting novella in the series, and a reasonable ending to Dragos & Pia’s story arc, without any real horror or life lost. Harrison has also set up another story arc for Liam’s future, and a lot of potential futures for other characters in the Elder Races series. Welcome to baby Stinkpot aka ? Read to enjoy and find out the details.
Eastlake does a decent job of narration.
Recommend.

Well paced action and strong characters

So much story for a short novella. As some of my favorite characters evolve and grow, a new landscape emerges. Dragos and Pia's family is changing, and their adventures are entertaining and engaging.

Excellent wrap up of a favorite family of characters.

I certainly hope the Drago's family will be mentioned in other boos. This is their final chapter. I truly with the story was longer, but everything that needed to be said was. You won't want to miss this good book. The book moves face so savor as much as you can. I do not give 5 stars often, this one is worthy. Enjoy!
