Good story

Unlike most of Carl Weber’s books. I can’t say there were any real surprises in this book. I saw the twists coming long before they were revealed. But even with that, I enjoyed the book. I liked the characters, even though they all made some pretty ridiculous decisions. And Trent…OMG. He was trash. Real trash. And though I know he was True TRASH, his story line kept me interested in the book.
The narrators were okay, but I do agree with other reviewers about the man who voiced Will. There was just too much saliva going on.
All in all, a good listen.

I guess

Will is stupid, but that’s most men. Will wanted to cheat and MiMi is crazy. I know there are many women that obsessed over married men all the time. Yes this book pissed me off.

Read "Married Men" first!

Anyone reading this book first would think the Diane character was a saint. But in Weber's "Married Men", you see that she's come full circle from villian to victim. Will played a lesser role in the first book, so I didn't expect him to get a spinoff, but he was definitely a wise choice. Loved the plot twists and interweaving of new characters like Will's brother who had a storyline of his own. Excellent work on the book and the production. This one was hard to put down! Part 3, Mr. Weber?

Heck Naw!

Trent was off the chain! I kinda of wanted bad things to happen to him. He was terrible. I hope I never meet a man like him. Michelle… dang girl! Mel should have paid more attention! Will should have too. This book was crazy. I would have given it 5 stars but it ended abruptly like it was a cliffhanger in lieu of a part 2. The performances were excellent. The plot was great. I like this author.

Great Book!

I thought Carl Weber did a great job on this book. I love the fact that there are different narrator's it kept the book interesting. This book kept my attention. The only thing I would say that I didn't like was some of the story lines are a little far fetched. I love Melanie character I hope that one day I meet a prince like that. If you are looking for an easy read and something to keep your attention this is the book for you.

Funny

What made the experience of listening to Player Hater the most enjoyable?

captivating, colorful, real life I could certainly identify .The main characters were funny ...although the Mmeme was slightly unbelievable in the end and wife could have fought more :):)

Wonderful I liked it ...

Who was your favorite character and why?

Trent -scandalous funny

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

NO BUT THE WRITER IS GREAT, voices need more female range

If you could rename Player Hater, what would you call it?

not sure ...but this is not a connection until later although they used the term quite a bit

Any additional comments?

Enjoyable

Great Spinoff!

I loved Will in Married Men and Diane got on my nerves. However in this book it shoes how the characters have progressed and shows that they have a hold slew of new problems. Mainly Mimi this chic was.... Well I don't want to give it away. Let's just say I couldn't stand her.Trent reminded me of Jay from Married Men except he took being a player to the extreme!!! Melanie got on my nerves a bit because she couldn't see through the person that was hating on her. Great job Mr.Weber!

A message and entertaining......

It's a great story..... It was sad and funny and in relationships even marriages sometimes love just isn't enough. Also this book teaches you that what you put out in the universe you get it back. The only thing I didn't like at times was the narrator voices for the guys but it wasn't to the point where it turned me off from the book.

This was a good listen if you read married men and familiar with Wil and Diane Duncan characters this one continues with them and Wil brother Trent who is a playa with a lot of trick up his sleeves the follow up to the ending of this book is in So you call yourself a man.
