About this listen

Addison Harper is back, and with another dead body at his feet. Only this time, the entire town saw it happen.

Milverton is in the running for the Terrific Town Award, so a dramatic death at the opening ceremony is far from ideal. Addison had only been lending a hand, but now finds himself much more involved than he'd ever hoped. To think his biggest worry before had been his upcoming date with Sergeant Jake Murphy.

As for the sergeant, he can hardly ignore a hall full of witnesses even if he wanted to. And they're all pointing the finger at his date, Milverton's newest arrival, Addison Harper.

Poison at Penshaw Hall is the latest in a wonderful cozy mystery series set in an enchanting small town nestled amongst stunning New Zealand scenery. Investigate The Milverton Mysteries for a chaotic cast of local busybodies, delicious baked treats, a demanding and disdainful ginger cat, a very slow—burn romance with a rather appealing policeman, and of course . . . murder!

Addison Harper is still in Milverton, still trying to figure out how to get back to his job in the big city, wanting to get to know the sergeant better, making even more friends, and is the prime suspect in another murder. The murder mystery is the main thing, and the local law still thinks that Addison should keep his nose to himself and not in the crime investigation. We disagree!
I started the series in a sale platform but now I have them on my wish lists!

Addison is the prime suspect AGAIN

“Murder on Milverton Square” was such an enjoyable introduction to this series, its characters, their wonderful interplay, of course, the murder(s) and surprisingly, the “action”. And though I was excited to launch right in to the second in the series, I didn’t realize and/or anticipate that my fondness for the people in this town, both old and new, would be even more so than the first time. Wonderful story. Wonderful people in the story, especially Addison and Jake, Lynn and Mabel and so many others.
On to #3 (though sadly I’ll have to wait until the end of September for #4).
Oh and by the way, before I forget, the narrator for the audiobooks for this series, is “spot on”… 👏👏👏‼️

Can’t Wait To Start #3… 💃💃💃‼️

Such a good series! Just finished reading Poison At Penshaw Hall. The books are such a fast read--well written, with fun and quirky characters. Can't wait for the next in the series to come out.
