About this listen

Sixteen years after Cecelia Ahern's best-selling phenomenon PS, I Love You captured the hearts of millions, the long-awaited sequel follows Holly as she helps strangers leave their own messages behind for loved ones.

Seven years after her husband's death - six since she read his final letter - Holly Kennedy has moved on with her life. When Holly's sister asks her to tell the story of the "PS, I Love You" letters on her podcast - to revisit the messages Gerry wrote before his death to read after his passing - she does so reluctantly, not wanting to reopen old wounds.

But after the episode airs, people start reaching out to Holly, and they all have one thing in common: they're terminally ill and want to leave their own missives behind for loved ones. Suddenly, Holly finds herself drawn back into a world she's worked tirelessly to leave behind - but one that leads her on another incredible, life-affirming journey.

With her trademark blend of romance, humor, and bittersweet life lessons, Postscript is the perfect follow-up to Ahern's beloved first novel.

I loved the book and especially enjoyed Amy Huberman’s reading. I would love for Ms. Ahern to have Amy Huberman read another of her work.

I fell in love with the movie. Almost 13 years later I read the original book due to seeing this books release. This book is a wonderful addition to the original and with that had me in tears. It left me wanting more. But knowing all good things must come to an end.

Of all the Cecilia Ahern books that I have read, this by far is here most brilliantly written story. The subject matter is both heartbreaking, and beautiful. The narrator brings this story to life in an emotional, and heartfelt way.

Unforgettable

This book and the first book in this series (Ps I love you) are two of the most moving books I have listened to. I highly recommend this series

Very Moving Book

P.S. I Love You was one of the best for me. I loved everything about it and Postscript also didn’t disappoint. I started it on the 16th Anniversary of my grandfather’s death and found myself wishing he’d had time to arrange something for us. But, now after Jennika’s story, I find myself pondering preparing something for my own daughter. She is 13 but we never know when we’ll go. Holly helps so many and in turn continues to help herself. I’d love to see more of her story continue. I loved this book.

P.S. WORTH THE LONG WAIT!

This story is so well crafted. She managed to take me from bawling to belly laugh in the same way it happens when family and friends are grieving together over a loved one (or at least the way my family has). Best of all is the peppering of profundity with regard to inward and outward focus that are required of a healthy mourning process. It shows how that process is not linear, is not quick, and is different for every person. As Holly learns to realize that she doesn’t own a copyright on grief, she becomes a more insightful, compassionate, and wise woman, who then grows to passing that on to others. May we all allow the blessing of grief grow us into equally giving and compassionate people.

Just wow....

What a perfect follow up to P.S. I Love You. It brought Holly and Gerry's love back to life, and the take on life and death and our relationships within each was so beautiful. I laughed, cried, and connected with each character in some way. beautifully written.

Beautiful, just wonderful
