Having got a few audibles on being an expecting father, this guide was really useful, had lots of great information to help ease through the nervous months before and even after the pregnancy. I was personally scared of the whole thing, not knowing what to expect but the well-narrated and thought-out audible was incredibly comforting and gave me great advice that I implemented along the way. Highly recommended to other expecting dads out there.

as an anxious mom, I got this for my hubby - the soon-to-be-dad. He didn't say much when I gave it to him to listen to (shocker) but once he was done, he was so happy. He says he, too, was feeling nervous the book was super helpful. I'm going to call this a win!!

What a great book pregnancy guide for men. The author provides his experiences of going through three pregnancies with his wife. He provides a very detailed description of each month of pregnancy, what is happening to your wife, what is happening to the baby, and what you, as a new dad, should be doing. For each month, he also provides pro-dad tips, a dad’s to-do list, and explains common myths and questions that new dads have, along with ways you can support your wife by helping her through the ache and pains of pregnancy, helping to cook and do chores, and provide massage. He also explains the need for self-care for dads, such as exercise, mindfulness, and self-time. Eventually, he discusses creating a hospital bag and being prepared for the big day. Understanding the labor process and going through the actual birth, and bringing a new baby into the world. What you, as a new dad can expect when going through that process. He even provides suggestions of smartphone applications that can help you through the labor process. It is a great audiobook that any new-to-be father will learn a lot from.

This audiobook was great to have been from a man's perspective for a man. This makes it personable and relatable. The personable experiences are helpful and engaging. The narration was done professionally with an engaging tone. I like that the hormones were covered since they are vital to mood and many pregnancy changes. The author offers resources to download and ideas to incorporate into a daily routine. I recommend this audiobook for all first-time Dads. They will find helpful hints and support to welcome the new baby with confidence..

Pregnancy books always seem to be about what to-be mothers need to be doing or not doing, and sometimes this makes it seem like the to-be dad is just coasting through everything. This book is such a wonderful practical guide for men, delivered with kindness and understanding.

It answers a lot of the questions guys have and debunks the common myths. It was also quite humorous in places which made it really easy to listen to. The author even goes as far as explaining what to pack in the hospital bag! Great book for new dads
