Pretty girl
13 when she
went missing
lost
to her family
to her friends
to the world
found
but still missing
her self
In Liz Coley's alarming and fascinating psychological mystery, 16-year-old Angie Chapman must piece together the story of her kidnapping and abuse. Pretty Girl-13 is a disturbing - and ultimately empowering - pause-resister about accepting our whole selves, and the healing power of courage, hope, and love.

Have you listened to any of Nicola Barber’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
noIf this book were a movie would you go see it?
probably notAny additional comments?
Was an interesting story but I found my attention wanderting at times. I didn't see any where that it said for the young adult reader, but it was definitely written for a younger crowd. I have read nurmerous books about this subject which were much more in dept and informative, so this one was dissapointing.Written for the young adult reader

If you could sum up Pretty Girl-13 in three words, what would they be?
Dark, yet Empowering is what I knew going in.The subject matter is dark - the narrative view and subject angles utilized to go into the depths of psychology and emotions are genius. Although the targeted audience may be primarily younger, Liz Coley's writing carries substantial weight in depth. Liz's writing style, and exceptional creativity leaves me wanting very much to read her next novel. Liz is an exceptional author - I'm not sure if it is because she isexceptionally unique or that she is just plain solid in her writing (now is my mistakes in there four effect and lame humor)...
What about Nicola Barber’s performance did you like?
Nicola does a great job and was a nice fit to read this book. Great audible requires terrific narration in this narrator hits the mark.Any additional comments?
I'm a very successful person, but I struggle with writing. I'm intimidated to write reviews and normally do not do so, However, this author has inspired me to tell others about this book.I have listened to dozens or perhaps hundreds of books and this is in the top five for sure!

It is a good book, touching on a lot of things in a short time frame. It’s horrifying and heart wrenchingly strong. People can survive and live on with trauma.
Triggering
