Great Read

Private Eye and a Craving for Pie was a good read by Meredith Potts. As a private investigator, Melody Clue still has some cases that leave her speechless. This latest case is no different. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Intriguing

Enjoyable from the beginning to the end. Being a PI and understanding what her clients go through makes the job easier. Great Narrator.

A well-written short read from a very good author

Private Eye and a Craving for Pie (Melody Clue), My seventy-third short read/listen from prolific author Meredith Potts, Well-written & enjoyable, another cute, clean cozy mystery. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. AS always I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Earns 5/5 Chocolate & Confessions...Entertaining Fun!

Meredith Potts just released a delightful short audiobook (1:07), “Private Eye and a Craving for Pie,” narrated by the talented Stephanie Quinn. Thirty-something Melody Clue has been a PI for twenty years and lately she’s found herself evaluating her life. Divorced, yet not jaded on marriage, she has a loving boyfriend and counting her blessings after seeing her cheating, life-worn ex-husband and his tired wife midst their four-year-old’s tantrum. Infidelity cases were very common in her PI line of work and unfortunately end often with some close calls...some too close. However, she keeps up the humor as a coping mechanism which comes in handy when after closing one case of infidelity, another one comes her way. Sarah Whitford suspects her boyfriend Trevor MacDaniel of cheating...another one? Yes, but sometimes things are not what they seem. Stephanie Quinn has a pleasant first-person narrative from Melody’s perspective with an ability to change tone to depict various characters and personalities, age, and gender making Meredith’s tale and Stephanie’s narration entertaining! Nice epilogue conclusion, but no mention of pie!
