About this listen

Duet narration by James Joseph and Yami Habibi.

After an amazing night, Leia finds out the man of her dreams gave her the wrong phone number.

The last thing she expected was for him to show up two years later as her professor and PhD supervisor.

As if that’s not bad enough, the new VIP client who just hired her as his nanny turns out to be none other than the very same elusive billionaire masquerading as a professor at the college his family owns.

No matter how they resist, life keeps pushing Leia and Adrian together in a cruel twist of fate.

After all, they can never be together.

She’s his student.

His nanny.

His cousin’s best friend.

She’s off-limits.

Author’s note: contains steamy scenes, a possessive hero, and a good dose of angst. This can be listened to as a standalone.

It was good

I like the storyline and diversity in characters. Narrators were great, both accents were easy to listen to. I loved seeing Windsors showing in since I started with that series. The “Thor” nickname is probably my only dislike. It was too much and lost the appeal, then it turned annoying and childish. It wasn’t even a name she came up with.

“how could i not believe in fate when the one that got away walked right back into my life?”

the one that got away 🥺 ugh when fate brings leia and adrian back together!!! they have always been inevitable! i truly enjoyed their story but i took a lot of breaks reading this. i love every piece i’ve read of catharina but this wasnt one of my favs. i won’t lie i HATED his nickname, thor NENCNS that was not for me. maybe that had something to do with it. however his kids stole my heart. their relationship with leia was my fav.

tropes ➞ off limits / forbidden love / 10 year age gap / insta love / professor x student / single dad x nanny

THE PAUSING

Omg idk if it was the female narrator or the editor but no matter how fast I put the speed at there were SO many unnecessarily long pauses between sentences, ONLY WITH THE FEMALE NARRATOR. Idk. I kept thinking someone was calling or my phone shut off. This story is amazing and this author has become one of my favorites but the unnecessary pausing was infuriating. The male narrator was amazing tho! I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to finish it, just that ONE negative thing lol

Best narration I’ve ever heard

This book was incredibly well written with the right amount of romance and drama. The narration was top notch. Their ability to be vastly different characters with their each distinct voices was very impressive. Will read more of this author and more of the content by the narrators in the future. Loved it all!

Professor Astor

What an obstacle for sure that Adrian and Leia had to go through before they could be one. But as always love conquers all.

Almost loved it…

I wanted to give this five stars but drama with the ex wife was a bit much. For rich, successful and educated people, they have no back bones against the ex. They let her said and did things that were hurtful and the H and h just took it. Then they made up by sex. Wow! We listened and read books to lift us up not feel sad or let us down. If you like vindictive ex and sad main characters, this one is for you!

Great storyline but….

Like some of the other reviews, I struggled with the female narrator. It wasn’t her voice it how slow it went. It did help to speed it up. The storyline was great and I really like there was diversity in this romance. I also liked that it tied in the Windsor series. Overall I’d recommend this book and anything the author has out there.

Great story, didn’t care for female narrator

I live this story! So sweet, especially how the children fall in love with Leila as well as Adrianne. The female narrator was not great to me. She really draws out her lines and the emotion sounded so forced. I loved James Joseph as Adrianne though. He did a fantastic job!
