About this listen

Matthew "Wolf" Steel hated flying commercial. Luckily his job as a Navy SEAL meant he didn't have to do it very often. He'd been unlucky enough to be assigned a middle seat on the cramped jet, but fortunately for him, the woman next to him was willing to switch seats with him. Hoping for a relaxing flight, Wolf was pleasantly surprised at the good conversation and sense of humor the woman had as they flew 36,000 feet over the countryside. When Caroline boarded the plane to Virginia to move across the country for her new job she never expected to be seated next to the hottest guy she'd ever seen. She also never expected he'd be so easy to talk to. She knew he'd never be interested in talking to her if he hadn't been trapped in the seat next to her, but it was a nice way to spend a long plane ride. Neither Wolf nor Caroline were prepared for a terrorist hijacking of their plane, but if Caroline thought that would be the last time she'd see, or need, Wolf, she'd be sorely mistaken.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I am personally a fan of SEAL stories. I love the team work, and yeah, sexy guys are always great to read and dream about. This one has the excitement, the great guys, however, the woman is very different. She's never noticed, she's not special or stand out but she is if you take the time to know her. Wolf does.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ice/Caroline. Her attitude was different and she needed what these guys offered.

What about Stella Bloom’s performance did you like?

It was a good credible performance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes

Any additional comments?

Why would the bad guys go after an ordinary woman like Caroline? Why would the drop your drawers sexy guys want Caroline? How does a chemist play such an important role? And most of all, can she believe in herself as much as this team believes in her? A different SEAL story with an ordinary woman as the bravest of them all.

Invisible or invincible.

This entire series is mindblowing. So much so I've listened to them twice. I just can't get enough of those Seals.

The kind to take a day off and just relax and read a book. I like the story and I liked the characters. I got emotionally involved and the book took me away from my life for a while. There were some spots where dialog was to wordy and would have skipped over if I was not listening. I would much prefer a male voice and a female voice but Bloom did her best. The story kept me engaged.

Fun easy Read

You made Caroline childish at times, yet intelligent and courageous at others. She deserved to be an adult at all times.

Good read.

This story was good, it kept my attention. Although I think the constant adventure would have been better spread to the other sequels which are terrible.

Best in series

I like to read books.. and enjoy ones that could remotely happen.. but this one?? Ummm not so much. Storyline was okay, albeit far fetched. I only finished the book because I was waiting for a pink elephant appearance or some wuzzle it was that off the wall. Decent narration, but storyline was off.. and so not believable.

Not too impressed

Caroline boarded a commercial flight to move
to her new Job! She had a big, muscle man to sit
in the middle seat. Carolyn gave him her aisle
seat so he would have more room. Carolyn
is a chemist, she noted something wasn't right
when the drinks were being passed around.
Their were 3 men on that flght, all part of
a Seal Team. Get ready for betrayal,
kidnapping, arson, and a love story.
Thank you, Susan for another fantastic book!

This is a book hard to put down!

I really did enjoy this book. I liked the whole plane jacking scenario and loved to see that Caroline was a fighter! It’s kinda weird that it’s called protecting Caroline because I felt like she did most of the protecting herself and even protecting the Navy Seal guys. Caroline went through so much in this book that the ending kinda threw me off...any person would be traumatized after everything and probably needed more time than the author gave her to recover and get better. It wasn’t realistic and that disappointed me. Overall it was a pretty good read.
