Powerful!
What did you love best about Public Speaking Secrets of the Pros?
There were lots of great tips. However, the ones that hit home for me personally were:
Chapter 10 - When telling your story relive it as if it's the first time both you and your audience has heard it
Chapter 11 - Create an ad-lib library for those awkward moments
Chapter 12 - 5 commandments to effectively using humor
Being a Jacqueline of many trades I found Peter's tips regarding multiple business cards extremely helpful
The tips regarding PowerPoint was right on, also.
What other book might you compare Public Speaking Secrets of the Pros to and why?
I have been involved in Toastmasters for a few years now and quite a few of the techniques Peter talks about reminded me of the various speeches we have to give. His book also expanded on a few techniques that I struggle with at Toastmasters.

No I have not heard him before, but I loved his narration!!!!
I didn't know how one could do comic timing in book reading and he does it well!
What did you learn from Public Speaking Secrets of the Pros that you would use in your daily life?
While listening to the book I learnt the obvious mistakes I make but never realized. And I thought it was okay to be me. However, after listening to this book I am making conscious efforts on 3 things to begin with such as, having a loud/good voice, eye contact with as many people in the audience (talking to people, not talking at them) and ensuring a seamless transition of topics.
