About this listen

Ophelia Peters is a military veteran, a thrill seeker, and aspiring clothing designer living in NYC. Niall Gallagher is the marketing director for his family's Irish Whiskey brand. He needs a date for his brother's wedding back in Ireland and nothing would irritate them all more than if he brought home an American beauty. Ophelia isn't afraid of taking a trip to Ireland and acting like Niall's girlfriend for a weekend. She is afraid of how easy the Irishman seems to fit into her heart. It could just be the suit, but the man wears it well.

Hot, steamy and fast

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book and found the fast paced insta love a wonderful story. I also love the narrator and how she brought the characters to life.

On a suit watching expedition, Ophelia Peters meets an Irishman who could ruin her for all other men. Niall Gallagher is on a business trip to New York to promote his family's Irish Whiskey. When he meets Ophelia, he knows she is the one. Inviting her to his brother's wedding is easy, getting her to stay is the part he fears. However, Ophelia has a wandering spirit, a keen eye for fashion, and a love for a man in a suit. After her trip to Ireland, Ophelia is ready for forever.

If you're looking for a short story with an Irishman, a wedding and a free flight to a new life, this is the book for you.

I want my own Irishman

This is a stand alone short story that is part of an anthology collection centered around a male's suit tailor shop. All I have to say is I agree that I want to be sitting outside of that shop watching the men going in and out. Suits and sexy men. Nothing better unless you add in one with an accent. That is what you get here. After listening to the book, I wanted to pack my suitcase and book the next flight over to Ireland in search of my very own deliciousness. The narrator did a good job with both of the characters and I won't mind listening to another story she narrates. At each change in chapter there is small amount of time slippage that moves the story along, but it is easy to follow. After all, who wouldn't want to find their possible happy ever after on a free weekend trip from NYC to Ireland.
