About this listen

A secret-baby second-chance contemporary stand-alone romance

Quintessential: representing the most perfect example of quality or class.

A trip back to the small Indiana town of Riverbend to finalize my grandmother’s last will and testament throws my world off its axis. I wasn’t prepared to learn the stipulations of her will or that she’d left her beloved mercantile Quintessential Treasures to my college summertime love, Kandace Sheers.

Imagine my greater surprise when I learn about the secret that’s been roaming Riverbend for the last five years. Here are a couple of hints: She’s five years old. She has her mother’s silky auburn hair and my golden eyes.

The answer is simple. I take responsibility for the girl and go back to Chicago, where my life awaits. It turns out, Grandma had other plans because life’s never that simple.

Have you been Aleatha’d?

Enjoy this sweet, funny, and sexy secret-baby second-chance contemporary stand-alone romance that brings back the feelings of what it’s like to be young and in love. A stand-alone and one of Aleatha Romig’s Lighter Ones, Quintessentially: The One.

Just wow

Great book but to short, I need another book from Ms Romig for free. One credit for 5 hours not fair! But book was off the charts beautiful. Can’t wait for other series by these amazing writer.

Loved it.

No angst. Love the flow. Sweet story. Made me feel like I wanted to be apart of their town/family.

Need more…

I liked this story. However, I felt like something is missing. After six years and one secret, the H got off pretty easy. He didn’t have to do anything except just showed up, physically. The h is no better. She’s truly a doormat. Hence three stars for story. If you like no angst and easy h, this one is for you.

Great story,

This was a very enjoyable story, Felt real to people fall in love they both have dreams cause they're young one ends up pregnant doesn't tell the other 1 because they want them to have their dreams so dreams it's all kind of sweet and Romantic in some ways. But it does get very real like I said it was a great story the narrators, I enjoyed Thomas's voice very much how much he felt very real to me that felt like it was him I don't know how to describe it, The female voice took me a little bit more to get into but eventually I enjoyed her as well.

Secret Baby, but why?

What she did in keeping this secret and asking his grandmother to keep it as well seems pretty unforgivable considering how flimsy her reasons are. Yet, after just one good angsty scene he easily moves on to being in love and wanting to settle down with her. I get that it’s a short book, but the central conflict is resolved with no work on the part of either main character or apparently the writer.
