About this listen
A valuable starter guide for free and adventurous souls.
Have you ever felt drawn to the concept of "the open road"?
Do you feel restless when you stay in one place for too long?
Do you dream of traveling to different places, and waking up to new experiences every day?
Are you ready for a life change, with the ability to go out on your own and pave your own path?
These feelings are part of the core of living the RV lifestyle. A RV, or recreational vehicle, is the vessel for living a life of minimalism, adventure, and freedom.
Motivations for RV living include the desire to save money, live simpler, travel more, consume less, and feel closer to nature. For some, it is simply a spiritual calling. For others, it's a lifestyle option found to be most suitable for themselves and their family.
Whatever the reason for choosing this lifestyle, RV living comes with many rewarding experiences, as well as challenges.
This book is meant for those interested in learning about living an RV lifestyle, or for "lifers" who are just looking for some additional tips and tricks. This book can be used as a guide to begin, or continue, your journey toward living a freer, more self-dependent life!
During the course of this book you will learn about:
- Choosing the right type and model of RV
- Buying a new RV
- Buying a used RV
- Important steps to take after your purchase
- Important logistics on the road
- Making money on the road
- Essential and useful items for RV living

In this book, New York Times best-selling author William Bernhardt explains the elements that make stories work, using examples spanning from Gilgamesh to The Hunger Games.

Story
The “mountain men” were the hunters and trappers who fiercely strode the Rocky Mountains in the early to mid-1800s. They braved the elements in search of the skins of beavers and other wild animals, to sell or barter for goods. The lifestyle of the mountain men could be harsh, existing as they did among animals, and spending most of their days and nights living and camping out in the great unexplored wilds of the Rockies.

Story
Tired of the pace and noise of life near London and longing for a better place to raise their young children, Mary J. MacLeod and her husband, George, encountered their dream while vacationing on a remote island in the Scottish Hebrides. Enthralled by its windswept beauty, they soon were the proud and startled owners of a near-derelict croft house - a farmer’s stone cottage - on “a small acre” of land. Mary assumed duties as the island’s district nurse.

Story
For 30 years, drummer, author, and songwriter Neil Peart had wanted to write a book about "the biggest journey of all in my restless existence: the life of a touring musician." Finally, the right time, and the right tour. In the summer of 2004, after three decades, 20 gold albums, and thousands of performances, the band Rush embarked on a 30th Anniversary World Tour. The "R30" tour traveled to nine countries, where the band performed 57 shows for more than half a million fans. Uniquely, Peart chose to do his between-show traveling by motorcycle, riding 21,000 miles of back roads.

Get on the road the start your journey
Would you listen to RV Living again? Why?
Yes, our family has been contemplating to whether or not to go on a road trip this year and rent out in an RV. I know there's a ton of intricacies with doing it so I needed a good guide to help me along the way.
What about Anthony Francis’s performance did you like?
The pace and clearness of his voice.
Any additional comments?
I think this is a very good guide because it talks about many topics about RV living that most books don't about. It also makes for a convenient audiobook if you're in the road.

Any additional comments?
RV living is pretty cool! This is open to adventures, entertainment, and daily activity. When I was a kid I forever desired to Live in an RV and when I got married I said this to my wife and she said yes. That is why we buy this book so we can understand what we want and how to transfer to an RV.
