About this listen

Lacey Willow isn't just a witch. She's a bad one. Any attempt to use magic tends to end in quirky ways, which is why she owns a magic shop where people purchase amusing parlor tricks. When her new shop neighbor turns out to be a PI, Lacy is unprepared for the shenanigans that are about to go down. Soon, she finds herself accused of stalking, snooping around a funeral parlor, and dealing with hexes while she tries to clear her name.

This is a great little story to try out audio books, if you have never listened to one. It was a short story that was exciting and interesting to keep you engaged. The story was a great little mystery that kept you guessing the whole time, yet had plenty of human interest along the way.

This story was so quirky from the beginning - puns and all. I wanted a break from my more serious reads and was pleasantly surprised to be sucked into the mystery unfolding. On part fun, one part mystery, and one part light romance made for a great afternoon read. The narrator did a good job bringing the book to life. I am looking forward to the author’s other books!

Great Afternoon Read!

What an enjoyable story. Lacey is a witch, whose magic is a bit wonky. Trace is the new next door business neighbor. Lacey runs a magic shop. Trace is a PI. This book has magic and mayhem! It's hysterical! I really liked the mystery of why, who, and what the heck! You will also belly laugh at the antics. From a Fan... Pam James.

Hysterical Magic and Mayhem!

Written by one of my favorite authors, I selected it for that reason and was really disappointed. I would not recommend it.

A real disappointment
