About this listen

Hunger for nourishment. Hunger for touch. Hunger to belong.

Half-human and half-faery, Ani is driven by her hungers.

Those same appetites also attract powerful enemies and uncertain allies, including Devlin. He was created as an assassin and is brother to the faeries' coolly logical High Queen and to her chaotic twin, the embodiment of War. Devlin wants to keep Ani safe from his sisters, knowing that if he fails, he will be the instrument of Ani's death.

Ani isn't one to be guarded while others fight battles for her, though. She has the courage to protect herself and the ability to alter Devlin's plans - and his life. The two are drawn together, each with reason to fear the other and to fear for one another. But as they grow closer, a larger threat imperils the whole of Faerie. Will saving the faery realm mean losing each other?

Alluring romance, heart-stopping danger, and sinister intrigue combine in the penultimate volume of Melissa Marr's New York Times best-selling Wicked Lovely series.

A Great 4th Book

Would you consider the audio edition of Radiant Shadows to be better than the print version?

Yes, because you can relax and just listen.

What other book might you compare Radiant Shadows to and why?

This book series most resembles the book series: Switched.

Which scene was your favorite?

The entire book was full of action and not any 1 part was my favorite.

Any additional comments?

This was a great read and definitely better than the 3rd book of the series.

Best book in the series thus far.

I have been reading/listening to the Wicked Lovely series in order and while I have enjoyed the books, non have captured my attention like this one. I enjoyed the relationship between our protagonists and I thought Annie was well-written, showcasing a vibrant personality.

Loved it

I really didn't think that I was going to like this one. But I like it so much I listened to it twice right off. there is so much happening in this book you have to. Once it really gets going it doesn't stop till the end.

Couldn't care less about Ani

What would have made Radiant Shadows better?

It would have been better if it hadn't been about characters I didn't care about. It annoys me how just about everything works out for the best for these characters.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Well, Darkest Mercy, but only because I want it all to be over.

What does Nick Landrum bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The pronunciations, for sure. Also he has no idea how to say 'respite.' At all.

What character would you cut from Radiant Shadows?

None I guess. Taking out anyone would make the story collapse.

Any additional comments?

I wish I cared about these stupid faeries.
