Publisher's summary

The Remingtons is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series. Voted Best Book Series by Supportive Business Moms, UK

In Read, Write, Love...

Best-selling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna's come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can't get the six-two, deliciously muscled, and tragically neat Kurt out of her mind. She tells herself she's just stopping by to say thank you, but the steamy afternoon sparks a wild and sexy ride as Kurt and Leanna test the powers of Chemistry 101: Opposites Attract.

Opposites Attract!

This is such a fun listen. I love how opposites attract. Kurt is a neat-freak (and published writer) while Leanna is a jam maker. I can easily relate to being a messy cook to create. Melissa Foster weaves such endearing characters into the books. The imagery is spot on, and the humor is terrific. Pepper was also a fun addition to the book. Pets have such a great way of bringing people together. I loved how the author brought to light that they could build a future together, especially with Kurt's job as a writer -- he could live anywhere. Also, I love how family is important. This story left me smiling. BJ Harrison did a great performance with this book. I can't praise this book enough. It is feel-good listen.

Miss behaved dog...jam...and a writer

Le Ann is trying to decide what she wants to do with her life. She loves making jam, and is really wanting to make a career of it. She also has her loving dog Pepper who doesn’t always like to listen...and we have Kurt who writes suspense novels. Le Ann is unorganized and laid back. Kurt is OCD and very neat and organized. But they make they most wonderful happy couple.
But like every couple they have there trials. Kurt lives in New York full time, and LeAnn doesn’t know where she lives. But now that she has a chance to make something of her career, she will need to stay on the Cape, which means they won’t be able to stay together.
But once Kurt goes home for a wedding he is reminded that his job as a writer doesn’t mean he has to live full time in New York.
Listen to how well BJ Harrison brings this story to life. Listen to how they build there future, and there love story. Awesome book one again by Melissa Foster.

Lots of Love and Laughter

Kurt and Leanna are total opposites. Kurt is neat, tidy and a planner where Leanna is messy and fly's by the seat of her pants. Leanna stumbles into Kurt's world one day and messes up his neat and tidy. They both make such an impression on each other that they can't stop thinking of each other.

Kurt and Leanna compliment each other very well. They bring things into the others life that they didn't know they needed. This story has plenty of laughs and you get all the feels. You fall in love with the characters and want to have a beach cottage with your best friends around to make great memories. BJ Harrison is the narrator and he does such a great job of sucking you into the story and never wanting to leave. I listen to these books in my car and Harrison makes me feel like I am right there at Seaside listening to Kurt and Leanna having sex with the window open or having fun with the other Seaside girls. I just want to drive and hear the whole story in one setting. I can't wait for the next Seaside story.

My Thoughts on Read, Write, Love

I almost wonder if Melissa Foster was trying to save the best for last with Kurt Remington's book. If that was the plan then she absolutely succeeded in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I have loved the Remington series from start to finish. Every book was filled with so much love and heart and family commradery. Big families where I get to watch all the siblings fall in love one by one are one of my favorite things to read about (or listen to as I did with this one). This whole series hits the mark for all those, but Kurt is going to hold a special place for me now. Not only is he a writer so obviously he has a love of books, but I just loved his and Leanna's whole story. The exciting first meeting, the way these two opposites attracted, the way he helped her feel comfortable with herself in a way no other guy has every been able to do before, and the way she could get him out of his own head and away from his computer to enjoy life. There was just so much to love about these two as a couple. And love them I did.

Once again BJ Harrison did a fantastic job with narration. His voice is soothing but also manages to convey a lot of emotion. It's a great fit for these books.

I now only wish I had started the Love in Bloom books from the beginning, but I absolutely plan to go back and catch all that I have missed. I want all the Melissa Foster I can get my hands (or ears) on now.

Kurt and Leanna- Opposites Attract

Hunky Kurt Remington spends his days writing thrillers. He likes his very organized, secluded life. He spends his summers on Cape Cod. Plowing into his life was Leanna Bray and of course her dog Pepper. She is his exact opposite (they say opposites attract don’t they?). B.J Harrison’s soothing voice took you through the ups and downs, ins and outs of this romance in the making. Of course Kurt was my book boyfriend du jour and I was jealous of Leanna. However, I loved their HEA!

Amazing Story

Authoraholic meets no boundaries Jam Maker…….
When Kurt rescues Leanna and her dog from the ocean the attraction hits him hard and that attraction was instant. Talk about two people who are complete opposite. I just love this audio book. With summer hear, I sit pool side with my headphones. Or I listen with I drive to and from work each day. What better way to listen to BJ Harrison. I love his narration, he has such a calming way about him.
This review is of my own opinion.

Flirty fun loving collides with structure and sexy

This is one of my favorite storylines by far. Kurt Remington is a structured introverted male brought to life by the voice of BJ Harrison. He is a recluse to an extent when he's in writing mode and spares nothing to meet his tedious deadlines. He travels to the Cape to knock out his latest thriller when low and behold crazy flighty messy Leanna and her spunky dog stumble into his life. He's transfixed with every step and word spoken by the flirty nymph, that his original annoyance is a thing of the past.

Leanna is a fly by the seat of your pants type of gal, not bogged down with schedules and routines, she goes where the wind takes her and she cannot keep clean and tidy for the life of her. When she meets Kurt, she is unsure what to think but realizes he's a gem not to be taken for granted...especially when their nights turn sultry and their days turn magical.

This romance unfolds with the talented voices and oral nuances BJ Harrison projects in all his characters. I often don't even realize it's a man doing a woman's voice. I feel a part of the magic and literally get sad when I have to pause the book because it's so entertaining. This is one book not to miss...and an introduction to the Seaside girls as you'll come to know them.

Great series

Kurt Remington is a novelist who is always focused and always on time for his deadlines. Leanna Bray is a free spirit who sells jellies/jams and has no order in her life and nothing is on time. When Leanna shows up in front of Kurt's beach house searching for her dog who ran off in to the ocean he reluctantly goes and helps her, not knowing his life will never be the same. Kurt and Leanna have an instant attraction and you can feel their chemistry building throughout the book. Read, Write, Love at Seaside is a sweet, fun loving book. What an enjoyable, easy read! I absolutley love the audible version of this book as well. B.J. Harrison has such a wonderful voice to listen to with this book. He brings all the characters to life.

Love At It’s Finest!

Kurt Remington was a writer of thriller books. He was trying to write when he heard a woman screaming “Pepper.” He looked out and saw a woman running out into the ocean. She went under and he ran out and saved her and her dog. Leanna was one hot woman and a free spirit. She made jams and jellies to sell at the flea market. Her dog Pepper loved Kirk. He obeyed Kurk, but didn’t obey Leanna at all. He finally asked her to go on a date. Then things got steamed up. Leanna was offered a contract to sell her jams by a big company. Now she has to decide if she wants her dream to come true or go live with Kurk in New York.
I love the close family aspect of Melissa’s books. She has a great narrator.
