My go-to book to keep me motivated when I need to get things done

One of my favorite anti-procrastination books all-around (and I’ve tried and downloaded several procrastination/motivational books in the past). It’s a great message, offering several different techniques to try whether you need to just get moving and get started or if you have a big project looming that you need to start making progress on. Really, a narrator’s voice can make or break a good audiobook and this one is just right for the content.

Great tips!

As a chronic procrastinator, I nearly put it down to listen tomorrow 😀!
I love its brevity and its succinctness of the message. Packs huge punch in less than 2 hours. Go get it already!

EXCELLENT audio book!!!

This audio program is packed with great information that will help you overcome procrastination. Within an hour or so you will have at your disposal some very practical information. I was particularly impressed by the fact that he did a wonderful job without having to produce a six hour long audio program. Buy this book, hear it a few times, and change your life.

Nothing special

Haven't even finished last 30% of the book. The examples of things you want to be motivated for like "make the report" and "cleaning up garage" are far from real life. Material is just a compilation of countless blog posts on the Internet, and not even good one.

Good for even a non-procrastinator

Any additional comments?

I am a highly productive, non-procrastinator who was doing research for some coaching clients who struggle with procrastination. Wow! This was a GREAT book! I learned and implemented ideas that have further streamlined my productivity and, as a result of Akash's research and excellent writing skills, also better understand the challenges and mindsets of my procrastinating friends. Bravo! Highly recommend!

While having not read the book I think the audio version was sufficient.

Burn the ships like Cortez! There are many more but this was definitely a favorite.

What does Matt Stone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Satisfactory reading voice.

What did you learn from Ready, Set...PROCRASTINATE! that you would use in your daily life?

Get Things Done!! loved it.

This was exactly what I needed. It is uncanny how I could turn on the audio book and within 10 minutes, I found myself start moving around the house organizing or starting projects. I have successfully painted my house with the audio in the background. That is big for me. I usually start but not finish the job. I am thankful that I found motivation through this book. It helps that the reader is very easy to listen to.. I have replayed it many times.

Vital Information but Matt needs a better mike!

What made the experience of listening to Ready, Set...PROCRASTINATE! the most enjoyable?

Practical advice for the diehard procrastinators

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration was just ok, but the voiceover artiste Matt should really get a better microphone and room to record in. The recording sounded echoey and a little on the less professional side, which was a shame.
