About this listen

Lyme Disease is a substantial problem. While the CDC reported 427,000 new cases in 2017 based on surveillance criteria, actual numbers based on clinical diagnosis put that number at over one million. It is now well accepted that 10 to 20 percent of these cases go on to become a chronic illness.

Dr. Dan Kinderlehrer's integrative approach offers the most up-to-date and comprehensive plan available for treating and beating this disease. It will discuss brand new treatments such as disulfiram, which is being hailed as a major breakthrough, as well as the use of cannabis to treat pain and anxiety, among other developments in the field.

After becoming an expert in nutrition and environmental illness, he became ill himself with Lyme disease complex. His long road to recovery has given him insights into what patients are going through.

Recovery from Lyme Disease is by far the most thorough book available on Lyme Disease Complex. It will provide patients with information that will guide them on their healing journeys, as well as supplying doctors with instruction on appropriate diagnosis and treatment approaches.

Outstanding!

This book deserves worldwide attention. I cannot praise it enough. The author's explanations are clear, well-substantiated and backed up with the author's decades of experience treating tick-borne illness (and having it himself). I do not know the author nor had I heard of him until I was diagnosed with tick-borne disease after spending nearly a decade seeking answers as to why my health (previously excellent) suddenly collapsed into a mysterious and peculiar complex of neurological and physical symptoms. This condition made it impossible for me to continue a 24-year professional career. Clinicians, please listen to this book so the fundamentals will be in the back of your mind when a patient presents with a confounding complex of symptoms. Thank you, Dr. Kinderlehrer, for writing this book. I credit you with bringing my own doctor to the right diagnosis for me and you have brought me hope.

Most authoritative repository of Lyme Complex knowledge and wisdom

A true gift of clinical and research insights on the complexity that is Lyme and associated co-infections! Dr Kinderlehrer provides his accumulated knowledge on this fast evolving chronic illness — for the benefit of both patients and health providers. I also love that Dr Burrascano wrote the forward. These two amazing doctors are courageous and compassionate veterans of the Lyme wars who refused to ignore the suffering of patients whose symptoms are too complex and persistent for the reductionist lenses of today’s conventional medicine ‘specialists’! Thank-you for releasing this book in audio format! I plan to listen to it a second time — and then buy the text version to reference key parts when needed. Highly recommended — you will not be sorry!

Great book. Very comprehensive and helpful.

Great book. So thankful to the Doc. Very comprehensive and helpful. This book really ties a lot of loose threads together even though it also shows the disparity and trickiness of this dreaded desease. I think this is the new Bible for Lyme and really Lyme Complex which is the best name of them all and should be adopted by the community.
