About this listen

In Redeemed, the final electrifying novel in the House of Night series, Neferet has finally made herself known to mortals. A Dark Goddess is loose on Tulsa and the world. No single vampyre is strong enough to vanquish her - unless that creature has the power to summon the elements as well as the ability to wield Old Magick. Only Zoey Redbird is heir to such power - but because of the consequences of using Old Magick, she is unable to help. Find out who will win and who will lose in this epic battle of Light versus Darkness.

P.C. Cast's The House of Night series is an international phenomenon, reaching number one on U.S., German, and UK best seller lists, and remaining a fixture on the New York Times Children's Series best seller list for nearly 160 weeks and counting. With more than 12 million copies in print, rights sold in 38 countries to date, and relatable, addictive characters, this series is unstoppable. Now, in the final installment of the series, Zoey and her friends face the ultimate battle with evil, which will determine the fate of the world, both human and vampyre.

A worthy finale!

Which character – as performed by Caitlin Davies – was your favorite?

I especially liked her interpretation of Neferet's posh inflection as well as Aphrodite's valley girl. She really nailed it.

Any additional comments?

I was very happy with this finale. It should have happened several books ago in my opinion but it was very satisfying. Neferet has finally shown her true colors to the citizens of Tulsa. She's no longer trying to play both sides in her quest for ultimate power.

Zoey and the gang now have the full support of the citizens of Tulsa and the Tulsa P.D. especially after Neferet's arrogance got Zoey cleared of all charges. Every character played a part in this book, some more than others. There were quite a few deaths, none especially surprising all wrapped up in a hopeful ending. Well done.

Why the changes

They keep changing the speaker. The person who told the first book is the best and shouldn’t have changed

Superior to Twilight

I love the Twilight series, but this series is far superior. For one deals with one of my biggest pet peeve about all other vampire stories. That being the need to hide their existence and to keep the secret at all cost. It is beyond refreshing to see how the world would be if the vampires had always been part of the world. And the other peeve was the fact vampires were immortal. Here they are just longer lived than humans. And there is no TURNING someone into a vampire, its what you were born with. The story was a excellent example of expertly craft storytelling.

I want more!

I hate that the series is over! This was written so well that I was taken away to Tulsa to the House of Night and was following Zoe's circle around! To the Casts a huge THANK YOU for such great writing! I'll definitely be reading more from the two of you!
