Romance in the time of a dyno-alien invasion. Humans fighting back in their own ways, finding ways to destroy the aliens, and finding that they are doing terrible things to people, not just annihilation. I love this series, just wish the books were a bit longer. Lots of action and I like the characters. Recommending read/listen in order. Some smexy times and it’s a great little series in my estimation. Got the series with my Kindle Unlimited and was able to purchase this for the Whispersync price. Narrators are great.

BOOK REVIEW.....
Reed and Natalya were not my favorite couple. At first I was not a fan of Natalya. She seemed weak. However by the end of the book I changed my views on her. Reed is a good character. I do wish that more was written of his background and who he is. The over all story was good and the part about the heart was a good twist.

I would recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a good alien story to read.

If you’ve read Hell Squad series, you won’t be disappointed with Reed. As always, Anna Hackett delivers a fresh, interesting, action packed romance filled to the brim with edge of your seat scenes that leave you breathless. A note about the Audible version: if you’re new to Hell Squad it May not matter much, but the accents are either missing or not quite right. Natalia is supposed to have a slight Russian accent. Sometimes there is an accent (although it doesn’t really sound Russian) , sometimes it sounds like it’s missing. Shaw and Cruz also are supposed to have accents and they do not in this Audible version. However, I gave it 4 stars because the inflections and emotions come through loud and clear- especially Samantha Cook - like you’re right there in the midst of their world.

Natalya and Reed have both been personally touched by the ugliness of aliens invading Sydney, Australia and holding them in captivity! However, through strength of will and using their intelligent minds to outsmart the enemy they persevere! This story resonates with me because I understand how it feels to be filled with fear, but be required to move forward with plans because others depend on you! Natalya is temporarily thrown for a loop but Reed’s refusal to give up on her allows them to achieve their happily ever after!! Great series!!

I love Anna Havkett's books and writings. this was the only one that I couldn't connect to the characters. but I still enjoyed the action packed SciFi book!

This entire series is formulaic however the action and the connection of the characters means that even though it’s predictable from beginning to end, it’s also quite enjoyable. The narrators are good as well. I’m giving it a four for consistency, good action, sweet romance and hot sex.

This series gets better and better; another twist is added with each book. This would make a great original series for one of the many streaming services; that is if one can tolerate the blood and gore; could definitely set off triggers for some. Narrators are excellent! On to the next book!
