About this listen

A man satisfied with his 'catch and release' type of dating, until he meets the strong-willed woman he can't throw back. And you thought the men were wild....

From Tiffinie Helmer, USA Today best-selling author of the Wild Men of Alaska series, comes the first in the series Wild Women of Alaska.

This time he's fishing for forever....

From the moment Treat meets the new Deputy Chief of Dutch Harbor Seana Brogan, he's caught, and that's before she arrests him. Unfortunately his love 'em and leave 'em ways have proceeded him, and Treat suddenly finds himself in uncharted waters with Seana easily resisting his charms. Fighting to get Seana to take his intentions seriously will be the most challenging fishing he's ever done.

She refuses to bite....

No matter how tempting Treat Devereux seems, Seana knows the captain of the Sea Wolf is nothing but trouble - the kind of trouble that could cost her, not only her heart, but also her job. The last thing she needs is to hook up with the town's notorious bad boy. Not when she must prove to all the naysayers that she was hired as Deputy Chief based on her own merits and not because of who her father is. While this Deadliest Catch town is taking bets on how long she'll last, the Real Housewives of Dutch Harbor have their own agenda, and they're experts at tying people in knots.

not much storyline

it wasn't a lot of depth to the characters and there wasn't that much visualization all in all it wasn't very good kind of boring the only thing it had is sex and I'm not into just listening to books about sex got to have more gaps and a reason and a mystery and suspense if it isn't there then the storyline is very slow and boring

Reel trouble

I think that this audio book was pretty fun to listen to. the characters were often jerks but, there were quite a few people who were often lovable.

The fisherman and the deputy

Quick story of a new deputy chief trying to prove herself and a playboy fisherman. Was fun seeing Treat brought to his knees…while the deputy played hard to get. Good start to the series.

Charming

A sweet little story worth the time it takes to listen. The Deputy Chief and the town rogue have an unusual courtship. When the rogue realizes she’s the one, the tables are reversed. Very cute

Seana and Treat
Treat is a bit of a ladies man so when he gets arrested for disturbing the peace. He wasn’t even the one doing the disturbing he was just the cause, lmao.
Seana is the arresting officer because she is the new Deputy Chief in town and has something to prove. The attraction is strong but Seana can’t or won’t admit her attraction.
Treat has always been lulled by the sea until he meets Seana, she is anchoring him to land for the first time in his life.
This is a great little love story and a good start to an interesting series.
I really enjoyed the narration.

Too short

A new Sheriff in town and the town's playboy, make this an interesting romance of enemy to lovers. With this story like other short stories written by Tiffinie Helmer, I find that the story is too short and ends rather abruptly. There are some hot scenes that are in this story making it a Serrano Pepper intsead of just a Jalapeno Pepper, though there is a slow burn throughout the story there are a few explictedly toasty scenes. I really enjoyed the story for the most part by was left wanting when the book ended. Given that I rate this book at a 3.75 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to those who enjoy short and to the point stories, with a few spicy scenes. If novellas aren't really your thing, then this book isn't going to be your thing.

I hope this helps you find your next Tantalizing Tome!

New Deputy Chief meets Treat, real trouble.

Sean’s knows Treat is trouble and doesn’t want to get hooked, but he’s finished with catch and release.
Fun short story, with small town gossip. The seas are bumpy. Who knows what could happen.

Man-ho bulldozes dorky sheriff

“I want you.”
“Where, Shawna, where do you want me?”
“Inside, please. Now. No more fore play.” 🙄

Ugh. The 70s called- it wants its cheesy story back. New lady sheriff in town, who wants to be taken seriously, arrests a guy named Treat 🙄 because two other ladies fought over him. Excuse me?
She arrested him for being desirable? 🙄 And this is just the opening scene.

The eyerolls are off the charts throughout this insta-love novella. Even as a free listen, this was bad. If you’re still thinking this might work for you, I would recommend you wait for a sale and buy this as part of the four-novella collection.

Why would a woman want to be with a man whore?

Why is it in so many romance novels that the man has dated like a million women and then finally falls for the girl? Why would the girl want someone full of so many cooties? A man who is willing to date multiple women (from the same family yet) is never going to be a safe bet. A man who is never monogamous and never commits is not going to all of a sudden want to. I cannot enjoy books like this, it just leads women on that this might happen in real life. It won’t. Find someone who is worth your time. With less cooties.
