The Echoes of Fate Have Been Heard. After a Thousand Years, the Prophecy Has Almost Come to Pass....

The final days of hope have come and gone. The kingdoms of Illian stand on the edge of ruin, threatened by the armies of Valanis. As evil spreads across the land, too few are left to hold the line.

A world away, the children of fire and flame may be the only hope for the realm, but the dragons have been defeated before. Now Verda's future hangs in the balance.

Reeling from their losses, Asher and his companions journey north, trying to outrun the savage Darkakin. A confrontation awaits the ranger but, even with Paldora's gem, he dare not challenge Valanis yet.

The days of the Dragorn have come again, and with them, a relic of the gods has been brought into the light. The knowledge of Verda's true history weighs on Gideon Thorn, and he would see the world rid of the evil that has cursed it from the shadows for so long.

A great change is coming, and a new Age dawns on the horizon. Whether it be the light or the dark that finds victory, one soul will suffer the burden of destiny for all....

I really enjoyed the series and thought that the character development was excellent. I also liked the ending as it wrapped up all of the various storylines nicely. A very entertaining read!

Excellent!

Quaintrell can write an absolutely amazing battle scene while pouring so much into each and every character! I was hooked on this series from start to finish. If you love LOTR or any good Heroes Journey, then this story is for you! So glad I stumbled upon this trilogy!

Best book Iv read in years!!

Another excellent entry to the series. I'm loving the characters, story, and world. Narrator is the weakest link. He doesn't do character voices. I can accept that as an art style although many narrators on audible are exceptional at voices. My only complaint is that he will deliver a line completely counter to the emotion described in the text. A character can be quivering and crying and he'll deliver the line in a strong confident male voice. Deadpan is a style but he will then deliver the emotion at other times. Sorta comes off like he is reading lines without paying attention to what is being read. They list a producer and executive producer in the credits, who were obviously not too involved in the recording process. Musicians are taught to never leave a mistake in the recording. Narrators can seemingly do whatever they want.

Solid

Great ending to a great trilogy. Too many books feel so rushed at the end, final boss and after math and whatnot, but this one did it right !

Excellent ending!

Steve Brandt tells another amazing story that had me spending every free minute listening to the story. I fell in love with the characters and felt their pain and joy. would definitely recommend not just this book but the entire series.
