Publisher's summary

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who called a corrupt kingdom home sweet home.

Protected and sheltered from the worst the world had to offer, she fell in love with the crumbling city that burned and blazed around her. Every dirty corner, every scary shadow, found a place within her heart. So did a man who was violent and dangerous, just like the streets she claimed as her own. He was all business and brutality, except when it came to her. With her, he was calm, caring, and heartbreakingly patient. He warned her over and over that he wasn't the man for her, but she refused to listen. She never expected either the streets or their enforcer to hurt her, since she'd given her heart so completely to both.

She should have known the streets in the Point were always going to be savage, and so was the man committed to keeping control of them in the hands of criminals and bloody kingpins. Blindsided by a betrayal which cut so deeply she was sure the wounds would never heal, the princess fled the home she loved and the man who broke her heart. Throwing away her rusted, twisted crown was supposed to help her forget. All it did was make her long for everything she left behind. She told herself she would never go back, but in this tormented kingdom, family is everything. Eventually, she has no choice but to return.

While she was gone, the people who loved her worked hard to make the city safe, and the man who destroyed her sank deeper into the darkness. Going back shouldn't feel like surrender… but it does. As this pretty princess hovers on the edge of the unknown, the past attacks with a vengeance. It's a good reminder that puppy love eventually grows up and turns into something with sharp teeth and one hell of a bite.

She never asked for the keys to the kingdom. She'd much rather go out and build her own.

Jay's note to all of you awesome listeners out there: This is the final book to the entire Point series.

Satisfying!

I reveled in the dance of Karsen and Booker through the books. Their story unfolding out before us was breath taking and lived up to every expectation. We all knew Karsen wasn't the delicate rose they all saw because of her age and their desire to protect her. This story is as much about self discovery for both of them as it is a love finding it's way back to one another

****spoiler****

The bonus epilogue with Bax and Dovie is priceless. Absolutely Priceless. A dose I agree we all needed to tie up the entire series. It was beautiful to get to see them again and a throwback to where it all started, one that was well appreciated. I reveled in it, missing them a whole lot that I may need to go back to their story all over again. This series touched my heart and I am so appreciative for its existence. Thanks Jay!!

OMG I fell in love with these books so sad to see them come to an end. the breaking point series story line was an awesome story line 😭. Jay Crownover is one of my favorite authors.

Jay Crownover is an auto buy

This is another great addition to the series, it’s edgy and engaging and hooks you in. Ms Crownover never bothers to stoop to trite writing techniques or ridiculous personality flaws to try to keep the story moving, instead she writes amazing characters that have depth. I love that she somehow manages to keep it real - the guys get scared, screw things up and still save the day. The girls get scared, screw things up and can still be strong and capable. Nobody is written as the idiot so the other characters can appear to be the hero, instead each person holds their own in these books and has their own story to tell.
The sex is raw edgy and just right, it adds to the story rather than just taking up space.
My only complaint was the male narrator, I couldn’t handle his female voice it was horrible and detracted from an otherwise great listen.

Male narrator was terrible,. Story was awesome!!

Ohmygod, when the male narrator used his feminine voice, it was the worst thing thing I'd ever heard. Normally I don't like to say anything negative, but I honestly cannot ignore the fact that it was horrendous.
That being said, of course Jay Crownover knocked it out of the park. I'd been doubting that she could give The Point a proper ending, but that bonus epilogue at the end was amazing!! Well done, Jay!!!! I loved every word written!!

Great love story

I've been waiting a long time to hear Carson and Booker's story and was not disappointed. Carson was not a stupid girl who whined and held a grudge. Her emotional maturity was refreshing and Booker's ability to let her take the lead or work as equals was also refreshing. This was an actual story rather than the 2 main characters spending the whole book bitter and fighting, I guess that's why I love Jay Crownover's books. I am SO sad to say goodbye to The Point. This book is much better than Honor and Dignity.

Out of the series, this is 2nd best book...

This is the second best book in the The Breaking Point series, but Dignity is still the best of the four by far. I'm basing my ranking on the character development and love story of each. The Snowden Stark - Noe Lee romance still tops all; this Booker - Carson one is predictable and stole its antagonist slant from another couple (told in a previous story). Having said that, Karsen is a tougher, independent woman than her one note sister, Brysen. I also LOVED the author's ability to weave Stark and Lee back into this final chapter without taking away from Booker and Carson's reunion story. The other beloved characters make integral appearances throughout as well. Overall, this was a credit worthy purchase.

The only con is that I didn't prefer the male narrator's female voices and vice versa.

Good ending to the series

It’s always sad when a series comes to an end, but I think this was a great way to conclude this series.

I love Booker and Carson’s story and it out a nice bow on everything and buttoned up any lingering loose ends.

Carson learns what really happened that forced Booker to act and caused her to run to Colorado. It was fun having characters from the saints series show up too.

Carson proves her worth and stands up for herself and what she wants and what she wants is Booker. Good thing he wants her too.

Absolutely the worse book ever!!!

If you want to hear porn, this book is for you! No story line, no character building, no redeeming factors. The narrators were even stunk. Is there a way to erase this book from my library and from my memory? World's worse book...and the author is laughing his way to the bank. Shame on me for helping to give him a deposit.
