Publisher's summary

A devastating hurricane brings insurance investigator Ashley Walker back to Provincetown, the last place she wants to be. Not only must she deal with the dangerous consequences of the natural disaster, she has to fight her soul-shattering need for the woman she left behind. While Reese Conlon and Tory King deal with the challenges of a community in turmoil, a new threat emerges that proves to be even more deadly than the ravaging storm. A silent killer stalks the night, drawing ever closer to the one woman he believes to be his. Soon, no woman is safe, including Tory. The sixth in the Lambda Literary Award-winning Provincetown Tales.

It's Radclyffe...What's Not to Like

What did you love best about Returning Tides?

Women falling in love!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I don't have a favorite. The author has a way of making the leading couples heroines.

What about Nicol Zanzarella’s performance did you like?

Listening to Nicol is effortless. She doesn't take anything away from the book, in fact, she gives it life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. If I had the time, I would listen to the entire series in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

For me, these books equate to the Harlequin romance novels women read when I was growing up. Provides a great escape from the mundane.

Book 6

I knew from the beginning the endgame of this the 6th book in the series but if did not detract from the story. So well written and narrated that it had me second guessing at times a bit like an Agatha Christy novel. The whole series will end in the next book so I better get to it.

great book

This book was just as good as all the others in the series. I can't wait to continue,
I do have to say the twist in this one had me on edge for sure and the build up was flawless. I do hope we get to see more of Ahs and Ali in the next book.

Enjoyed the different story

I continue to enjoy Reese and Tori and it was a good suspense. Carter and Rica are fun to follow too.

Radclyffe continues to amazes with her P-Town Tell

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

.Yes, the continuing tells of the small town of P-Town are so exciting. You have Tory and Reese who is trying to solve the murder of an FBI agent in her town without the help of the FBI who are being jerks about helping out. And she has the help of Carter Wayne who has joined the P-town police. So Carter and Rita are back. So is Carolina and Bree. And Ashley and Alley seem to final work things out but it takes them a lot of work to do it. And some hot bedroom scenes. Which is Radclyffe's bread and butter highlights of all her books. But there is also lots of plot and tenderness, and love. And a nice mystery throw in to keep you guess until the end.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Carter Wayne is my favor character in this behind Reese of coarse. It's hard to beat Tory and Reese out for favorite. That just goes without saying but I like the depth Radclyffe gave Carter in this book along with Ashley Walker. Both women were given a lot of depth and rounded out in this book.

Have you listened to any of Nicol Zanzarella’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have listen to all the P-Town tells that she has recorded so far and I love them. The way she does the voices and accents of the character is super awesome. She is great and I can't wait to hear her on Sheltering Dunes the next book in the series which I just purchase and haven't listened to yet,

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wish I had the time to just sit and listen to it in one sitting but as it is I don't have the time. I listen to audio book just before I go to sleep at night. And back the tape up to were I fell a sleep the night before and then listen from there. I do get through the whole book that way. But I also normally buy books that I have already read. I just like hearing the story again. I enjoy Radclyffe the most,

Any additional comments?

This is one of the best of the P-town series and as you listen you grow to love the woman in the story but please start with book one in the series Safe Harbor..

Good As Usual

Radclyffe never fails with her storylines. I've listened to the last two audibles. Now, I'll have to start from the beginning of the series. I really liked the characters. Reece is my favorite.

Very suspenseful!

Out of the whole Provincetown series, this was the most thrilling. I was listening to this on a 4 hour flight and I that was the fastest flight of my life. It just completely sucked me in the story. Yes it has all the love scene that one would expect from Radclyffe but it also has a different flow than the rest of the other Ptown books. And also by this point in the series, Radclyffe has made the readers so invested in all of the characters that if anything bad happens to one of them, it's like a knife to the Heart. This was my favorite book out of the whole series minus Safe Harbor.
