About this listen

The stakes have never been higher, and she's full of the devil.

Edward Fasbender is my husband. Together, we brought down powerful men. Now we have a chance to start over. To be the family neither of us ever had, to leave the past in the past where it belongs. Edward has a choice to make. It will decide if we fall into the flames - or rise together.

Rising is the fourth and final book in the Slay Quartet.

Great Series...

I decided to wait until the end of the series to venture a review, so, I love LP's stories and this one is no different. Her characters were intense and difficult to like one minute and lovable the next. I felt that the complete story was great but missed the final villain. Who was after Hudson Pierce's family?? Series very much worth the listen.

This book was the perfect ending to this story. I never thought I would EVER like Celia but hearing this quartet has changed my mind. The ending Celia and Edward deserved!

Incredible ending to an incredible series ! Absolutely divine

I listened to all the FIXED series including Hudson and Chandler while I waited anxiously for this final book. It was divine, what I was so looking towards and the journey it took me to look at Edward and Hudson in different ways. Celia rose like the Phoenix from the fire. She stood her ground and stood as equal to Edward who as controlling as he is, he soon realized so many feelings he had as he was given a second chance to be the dad he should be for his daughter....Thank you Laurelin Paige and I hope there will be more stories intertwined with the Pierces and Fasbenders and maybe one on Camilla....

Great Ending

After seeing Celia and Edward go through all their trials in their marriage there could not have been a better ending to this story. I’m also very happy that Celia was able to get on good terms with Hudson.

The Best

I have listened to this audiobook several times and never get tired. Shane East and Elena Wolfe did a “bang up job”. They brought these characters to life. I don’t think Laurelin Paige can write another series like this one. I love the entire series.if you haven’t read this series you are missing out. What a pleasure

Absolutely great listen! 😍😍😍😍

I waited to provide a review until I listened to all four. I have to say it was just simply an intriguing, tantalizing, hot, thrilling, sad, happy, glad, mad listen ever! It was everything and I didn't want it to stop. I absolutely loved a strong heroine that was a perfect match for this incredibly complex hero, Edward. I was conflicted with Edward's tendencies, but he owned them and I respected that but, like Celia , I would have fought him to the tee too. They found a happy medium and I loved how the story unfolded to it's ending. The narrators' performances were absolutely brilliant!!!👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 And may I emphasize Shane East's performance had me swooning and feeling all kinds of ways. 🔥🔥🔥It was just wonderful Laurelin and I highly recommend everyone listen. You will not be disappointed.

Shane East was EV-ER-RY THING!

I absolutely LOVED Shane East in this!! When he cried as Madge... I SWOONED! This was a great ending to this series. This happened to be my first Laurelin series, but I'll definitely be reading the series that both precede and proceed this 1! Glad i found her!

What an ending!

This review will cover books 2-4. Everything kind of blended for me, and I couldn't distinguish between these three books. AMAZING STORY, AND BEAUTIFUL ENDING!

There's so much action going on in these three books. From Celia's uncle to Edward's ex-wife, Edward's grown children finding their way in the world. When add in Hudson Pierce and his wife, Elena. this is one couple that needs some alone time.

Celia and Daniel are both broken, and I think that lends to their strong pull whether they're fighting or getting along. Having been this rebel for years, she doesn't realize how much she needs Edward's command. Granted, his ways are seriously on the warped side, but I believe his intentions were kind of honorable once they got past their rough patch from the island. But things aren't all sunshine and roses w/the Fassbender couple. Celia is still holding secrets, and so is Edward. Both quite stubborn in their ways, they learn how much they need each other.

Edward and Celia's love is a hard-fought one, and as much as they disagree, they'll come to each other's defense in a heartbeat. They've both taught one another how to love the right way; the way that works for them.

I really enjoyed this series, and I hate I waited so long. Shane East and Elena Wolfe were amazing in their narration. These two have a gift of inhabiting the characters they narrate, and it lends to such a wonderful aural experience. I urge you to read the Fixed series so you can get and appreciate the full effect of Celia's redemption.
