About this listen

Amnesia and danger collide in this classic tale from best-selling author Lynette Eason.

The amnesiac patient in the makeshift Amazon hospital looks familiar to visiting American nurse Amy Graham. This isn't the first time she's seen those blue-gray eyes, the hard lines of his handsome face. When Amy sees his birthmark, she knows exactly who he is: Micah McKnight, the presumed-dead Navy SEAL. Her best friend's brother. The man her own mother set up to die.

Amy can't bear to tell him the dangerous truth about his hidden past. But her secrets are about to explode, because now someone is after them both.

Micah also known as Juan has completely lost his memory of the past and even of who he was. Family friend, Amy goes to Brazil as a nurse looking for her purpose. Because of burns it takes time but Amy recognizes who he is.
Forgiveness is a major theme of the book.
God provides forgiveness for all who seek Him. He requires that we forgive those who hurt us even if they are unrepentant. God didn’t wait until we repented to provide a way for forgiveness. I really enjoyed this book dealing with sex trafficking. It is the second book in the series. Though it can easily be read as a stand alone I suggest reading the books in order.

This is the second book in the series and it is excellent. The plot has an excellent pace, enough twists and turns that kept me guessing, and on the edge of my seat action. The narrator is excellent!!

Much better!
