About this listen

Rade and his team have joined forces with a new ally to hunt a rogue alien on a lava world.

Rade intends to use a research station on the planet as his base of operations. Located within a four-kilometer stretch between the day and night regions where the mercury averages twice the boiling point of water, the station exists on a barren, inhospitable tract of land where vaporized rock from the day side routinely falls as silicate rain. In those scorching conditions, a human in a jumpsuit can last maybe five minutes.

A human in a Hoplite battle suit, a little longer.

Unfortunately, when the team arrives at the station, the research scientists are not quite who they appear to be.

With Babies on way, let's have a war. seems right

The story continues. with our cast of characters. We find out that our alies are true but race is not. Enjoy the romp through space and battles on planets. everything a good space opera needs. Good listen, Enjoy.

An intriguing book of betrayal at it's best

After listening to the first 3 books it became more interesting, Bender keeps the book rated TV- MA. I'm now wanting to know what happens next so on to the book 6.

Another Great Argonauts Romp

Thank you, Isaac Hooke and Luke Daniels and Podium Publishing (and especially Isaac Hooke!)
A job well done, exciting, tense military Science Fiction combat, wrapped up in a tightly wound story and many many Laugh Out Loud moments. The writing of Isaac Hooke sparkles and comes off great spouted from the mouth of Luke Daniels. Luke Daniels seems to be the only audio actor that I’ve come across who has a different voice for every single character, no matter how small. As an example, a generic station security AI has a cool sounding Australian accent combined with AI tones. I’m not sure how Luke Daniels does these kind of accents so easily.

Thanks and time to purchase the next Argonauts Book 6: City of Phants! 1 click and Done!

Bender has to go

Benders conduct and language has got to go. It gets tough to constantly listen to his mouth.

good story , great concepts, too much vulgarity

story is good I've enjoyed 5 books so far and the voice performance is strong. but some of the dialog is a bit much in my opinion. that's the only complaint I'd have. mostly the conversation between 2 of the characters. I found myself fast forwarding a lot when they would banter back and forth. I wouldn't recommend to young readers.

Another great read

as expected this book like the last and the many others before it was amazing. I'm never left upset with one of Mr. Hookes books.

Great series with well developed characters

Some of the banter between the Argo crew leaves me annoyed, but thats great - the writer has captured the different personalities and is convincing, well written and very entertaining overall.
