About this listen

Will West is playing a dangerous game. Months after uncovering the sinister Paladin Prophecy plot, Will continues to work with the mastermind behind the project - none other than his own grandfather, Franklin Greenwood. Will cooperates in order to keep his friends safe. But are they really secure in the hands of a madman?

Under constant surveillance, Will and his friends secretly devise a plan to defeat Franklin Greenwood and his Knights of the Charlemagne. The team must enter the Never-Was and find an elusive group of supernatural beings called the Hierarchy. But as the battle approaches, the alliance uncovers old secrets that threaten to tear them apart. Can they protect Earth from the demons beyond? Or will a rogue player destroy them and the world they live in?

Thrilling mystery and electrifying suspense abound in Mark Frost's action-packed Paladin Prophecy series, which is compelling to the very last word.

Good want to the trilogy

This book was a good end to the trilogy. It's nice to see the story all wrapped up. Unfortunately, this book suffers from a rather weak ending. It's like three or four pages were skipped. I wish a revised edition would come out with what happens between the climax and the return home. It's a giant plot hole.

Great trilogy

I must say I beinge read/listen to this trilogy in less than 72hours. Story line was well done and love the details of all the characters. It allow me actually picture them. I would love to see this trilogy go to motion picture soon with in the next 3year. I fell that the if they stay true to the book within CGI budge and not over pay for actor this will be great series like marvels series, Harry potter, I wish they would continue I am number four and ect.

not a perfect ending.

It left somethings unanswered at the end of the story that would have nice to get some closure on those points. I also feel like they missed a huge opportunity to create some character development and drama between the friends after the reveal of traitor in the group. Overall It was entertaining but it could have been so much better.

Worst by far

While listening to this book, all I could think of was another book I read where I described it as, "He's just coming up with the worst nightmares possible and throwing them all at us at once." That is a similar sentiment to what I was thinking during this book. Just a whole bunch of nightmarish creatures attacking the kids at once.

Getting past that, nothing new really happens. We find out some interesting things about Will's family in this book, and about Coach's history, and Ajay get's telepathy. Other than that, not much happens. They go into the void or what ever and fight a bunch of monsters. Will and Elise are still in love (Which I still find weird since Elise was supposedly in love already in book 1) and Nick is still an idiot. Not a lot changes and we don't gain a lot from this book. There's also no intrigue like books 1 and 2 had. No mystery or plot, just an adventure. I was actually disappointed in the end.

Chamian does his usual great job and the characters are all still there making this an enjoyable book to listen too, but really in the end it was just blah. I'll look forward to book 4 though as there are a lot of possibilities that he hinted at in book 3 (Like the wrestlers...what on earth is their purpose. He barely mentions them and before you know it the book is over)
