About this listen

Protect the women. Take the throne.

Awaking on the shores of a primitive world, David discovers a remote village populated almost entirely by women.

Powerful witches have killed the men, destroying their tribal society. The women have little defense against the wild beasts and opportunistic goblin slavers who roam their forests.

With a mysterious new power raging in his muscles, David becomes their guardian, provider, and leader. Beautiful women flock to him, believing he was sent by a sky god to protect them.

5 stars

Another great series by Quentin Kilgore. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.

Great narrators!

This is the most... direct insert, story I have listened to in a while. That being said, you know what you like, and if you like that kind of thing, this is RIGHT down your alley.

That being said, this was a good story. With the world in the state it is, it was nice that there were a couple other male characters in support roles. They helped counterpoint all the girls. The story was interesting, and David was a good kind of character that I enjoy to read. He is heroic, and always striving to do the right. He adjusted very quick to being in a new world, but it made it so that you can enjoy the story by passing that past quickly. BTW, Nunu is the best girl!

Matt has the ability to go real deep and gravelly, which helps add color to the story. Many also does a great job as a narrator!

Humor

this was a fantastic book to listen to, I know it's not for everyone but for those interested in this kind of book it is definitely entertaining nonetheless.

Wonderful HaremLit series.

This series is the very epitome of the male romance HaremLit genre.
This eath man gets sent to another world by a god of that world to repopulate it because he's immune to the illness that has decimated the male population.
I don't know what more you need to know.
There's lots of spice, action, deceit, spice, and some city building.
I was gifted this book with the expectation of an honest review.
It's great to have the whole series in one book.
Great writing and narration.
I give this book/series 7 stars out of 5.

The magic, the romance, the plot was amazing.

Some of the voice acting could have been a bit better, could have had more emotion put behind it.

Excellent story.

I really enjoyed the story and world building. I would love nothing more than to dissappear back into this world again.

Shrugs

The story was... fine... I guess. It's story and porn in equal amounts. The voice actors, however, the male actor, are good but sometimes got a little too into in, but the female actress kinda sucked. I mean, she might as well be reading from VCR instructions in different accents.

p.s. The subplot about female nature, I'm still trying to figure out if it was dumb or profound. it's like god coming down and showing a man female nature and the guy looking at god in disbelief, and god just throws his arms in the air, yelling, "I DON'T KNOW! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?! I DON'T KNOW!".

narration

the narration is horrible, the male narration is ok, not bad but the female is like so bad. like the clear eyes commercial guy in female form.
